Tony Hale and his guys were nothing short of fantastic. They are all you want in a company who comes into your home to do a major job. Tony and his team were very professional, reliable prompt, cleaned after themselves, and we could not have been more pleased with the job they did. We have recommended them many times to others looking to convert from electric heat. Tony's team made it so easy for us to just move in after they were done. They went over and above their scope of work because another contractor, who was to follow them, let us down. They were fantastic. I should mention we have evenly distributed heat and A/C which is uncommon when done after initial construction.

Sam was efficient and even called whirlpool because the part was so expensive, checking for an alternative. He was very nice and fixed my broken electronics that stopped my oven from working. He wore over the shoes booties so as not to scratch hardwood floors. Very professional and personable

My new Kenmore sewing machine blew a fuse (I now know it was a known problem from manufacturer..fuse too small), and they would not give me the part number, instructions, or help of any kind. The actually took an order for the fuse once I found out the number myself.....then cancelled it without telling me!!! I repeated the process, same thing happened. They were the least helpful company I have ever dealt with. I ended up doing all my own research, finding the fuse and on-line instructions (from their instruction book, posted by a kind person who knew the trouble folks had with them). No wonder they are in trouble!

We had watermarks appearing on the bathroom ceiling which became more and more frequent. We had the realization that there was leak somewhere near the fan. I called Josh at Top Standard Contracting, and he and his team was there quickly. They found 5 gallons of water above the vapour barrier! This reno involved taking out the whole ceiling. While we were waiting for it to dry, his team check with me frequently, and came to check it. They then took care of the mold, picked up and installed a new fan and repaired the ceiling. They totally cleaned up all the mess in the bathroom and did amazing finishes. I highly recommend Top Standard Contracting. I have just recently asked for a couple of quotes and have recommended Top Standard to my daughter.

Top Standard Contracting – Reference: I highly recommend Josh Garyfalakis and his team. We were taking a trip to Maui and really wanted to have our rec room done while we were away. I spent a lot of time working out exactly what I wanted in that room, and approached Josh, just a couple weeks before we left. He managed to book his team in on our last week of vacation. We met, and I showed him what I wanted where, left on vacation, and came back to everything exactly as I had hoped. The workmanship was perfection, everything I anticipated was done and I love our new rec room. I have to say that the really big surprise was that we came home to a clean basement and there was no evidence that they had been in and out our main floor the whole week. The door to downstairs requires going through the entrance, dining room and part of the kitchen, and it was all very neat and clean when we got back. I would recommend Top Standard Contracting to anyone. Josh delivers on what he promises, with excellence and has his guys clean up afterwards – bonus!! I know a lot of people who have contracted Top Standard Contracting and everyone says that they couldn’t imagine using anyone else. Everyone is delighted and confidently trust Josh. Thanks!!!

I highly recommend Covering Concepts, on Harvester Road, just east of Appleby Line. The recommendation/assessment was professional, the pricing very fair, the installation quick to start, and the installation itself was perfection. These guys went above and beyond in my opinion! I have a beautiful floor laid perfectly. They took such care, made no mess and finished the job in two days. Again, I highly recommend this company for service, politeness, kindness, efficiency, price and professionalism. They truly take pride in their work!!

I contacted Just A Countertop, requested two countertops, chose my finish from samples I had already, and put down 50% deposit. Ali Mamaghan, owner came to my house a few days in advance of the install to check my measurements. He looked at my countertops and said "why do you want new ones?" I said "because the finish is wearing off and it should be replaced" he said "no, some previous owner has varnished or varathaned them (I can't remember which he said), you just need some acetone and it will all come off" with that he told me exactly how to do it, and THEN SAID "I will refund your deposit (done same day), and if you still want countertops after you get the stuff off, call me" GOOD GRIEF what a pleasure to find such an incredibly honest tradesperson!!! I HIGHLY recommend this company because anyone this honest can only do the very best work!!!! Diane Beard

Rob took out the large pedestal sink from the upper bathroom, and after removing a tiny sink in the lower bathroom, installed it in that space. Then he installed our new vanity, sink and taps in the upper bathroom, & snaked the drains. Rob is punctual, reliable, personable, and does excellent work. I recommended him to my daughter who had a ton of small plumbing projects and issues and she was also delighted with Rob's service. HomeStars should use a map that can find the postal codes. L7M 1R7 is the actual location, which Google Maps will display. HomeStar would not accept that PC.

ABW is an awesome company! Tony, the owner, is very professional and knowledgeable. Tony and his team excel in customer service in every way. They not only do an excellent job at a very fair price, but they do it within the agreed upon time frames, and are very very neat/clean as well as respectful of floors etc. ABW absolutely goes above and beyond to exceed all expectations. I went into Thomas Flooring for a new bottle of Woodpecker because it is all I will use on my hardwood floors. When I did go in, the lady there was so helpful in addressing my questions about kitchen flooring. We recently purchased a 40 year old home and the kitchen floor needs replacement. She directed me to the perfect choice, explaining all the benefits and we will go back to see her in March or April when we are ready to tackle the kitchen floor project. Her recommendation will save us considerably and I think I will like the product she recommended over what I originally planned.

Tony Hale and his team possess all the traits we'd like to see when we hire contractors. They came to us highly recommended and met for a consultation where all of our questions were addressed. We were consulted on many issues throughout the project. They started right on time, they work diligently to complete the project on time.. The team is polite and courteous, they clean after themselves. are professional in every way. Tony takes the hassle out of the project by taking care of everything. He is extremely knowledgeable and does excellent work. We ran into a glitch with a semi-related part of the project, where another contractor let us down at the last minute with a time push back. Since this was a carefully planned project in preparation to moving in, timing was critical. Tony stepped in with his team and did the work the second sub-contractor was not able to do in a timely fashion to meet our deadlines. We were so delighted and surprised! Many would have said "not my problem, I did what you hired me to do" but Tony and his team took on the task themselves. They are truly an exceptional team with the highest standards in customer service, customer satisfaction and highly knowledgeable about HVAC systems. We highly recommend ABW Air Systems Ltd.
