We could not have more good things to say about Sam and his team! We put our ad on homestars as we needed to quickly renovate our basement apartment to make it more mobility friendly for my mom to move in. I really wanted her in ASAP but she could not move in until the work was done. We were having trouble finding anyone from the contractors recommended to us by friends snd family that could give us any confidence that they would do what we wanted quickly and in our budget. That was not terribly surprising given the backlog in the home renovation industry and labour shortages that currently exist. Then we hit the jackpot when Sam responded to our ad. It is a leap of faith to trust your home renovation with someone you know nothing about. Horror stories are everywhere. However from the very first day he came to give us a quote Sam put our mind at ease. His customer service skills are excellent. He listened to what we wanted but also made numerous suggestions which were relevant to our situation regarding designing with mobility in mind and which were looking to the future so we could avoid ripping the bathroom back up if things changed. Sam did more than just the bathroom. He also made an addition to the deck and widened the doorways and painted the basement. We could not be happier with both the process and the finished product. Sam is responsive at all times. He is truly kind and considerate. He tells you what trade is coming when and provides photos with his updates. He only asks for clarification when he needs it but you can have access to him at any time. He is flexible and agrees to make changes or additions on the fly. He gives you his honest opinion about what will look good and it does. He keeps everything very tidy and cleans up after he is done. His team are the same. We are so thankful that Sam intervened and allowed us to get my mom in for thanksgiving and that she is coming to a functional beautiful space. We give Sam and his team 10 out if 10 and wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone.
