Alex drove to my house on a Saturday afternoon, which was extremely convenient for me. When he arrived he offered to wear protective booties over his work shoes, which was very considerate but unnecessary as the path to my sump pump is just a few steps inside the door. Once inside he diagnosed the situation, took time to explain what was happening with the pump, and installed new sump pump.
