The Rental Stop has just about any piece of equipment that you would need for any home or yard work. I was surprised at the stuff they have for rent. The staff is very helpful.

Foxglove Farm and Garden is the largest garden centre on Salt Spring Island. The prices are rather high and the labels are missing from many plants. It is not as disorganized as it use to be but still needs improved.

Dinter has been around for a long time and has a good selection of products but they are rather expensive compared to some of the other local garden centres. Staff helpful and friendly.

Marigold Nursery now has a location In Duncan BC also and it is just as large as the Victoria location. Amazing selection, staff are great and if you sign up for their email you get promos and specials.

We needed some trees removed as they were dead and close to the house so called Beechwood. they responded quiet fast and gave a quote for the removal. Very happy with the work they did.

The strata needed new front door locks for security and Prices was able to supply a very unique key locking system. The keys are expensive but they can not be replicated so are better for security.

Needed to update some light fixture so went to several big box store but was not happy with the selection so went to Illuminatons and I found very unique light fixtures there.

I normally do most home repairs myself but was busy so called this company and was very happy how fast they called back and then came over to complete the several repairs around the home I needed done.

I had a small drywall repair in the bedroom due to a leak and I called Harbour City Drywall several times and left a message but no one called back.

After checking out the usual big box stores we headed to Andrew Sheret and were surprised at there selection, The prices maybe higher but you get more of a quality product than elsewhere.

After checking out some of the competition we decided to purchase a ceiling fan and some light fixtures at Mclaren. The quality seemed better so that is why we chose to purchase here. There light bulbs were pricey so I would recommend buying those elsewhere. Overall happy.

We where building a new deck and checked prices for the material needed to build it. While Slegg was not the cheapest on everything overall there prices beat many of the big box stores.

The hot water tank was leaking and needed replacing. I check the usual big box stores and a few plumbing stores and then thought I would check Home Hardware. Was really surprised but there tanks had the best price and the longest warranty.

We had a door that needed a window put into it. We looked for a new door and then found out Dodds can install the window into our existing door. Much cheaper and they were fast. It only took a few hours. Great service.

Andrew Sheret's showroom is very nice and a pleasure to walk around. The staff were great and very helpful. We found a faucet that was $50 cheaper than the same one at one of the big box stores.

The staff was great in showing us the many diiferent taps and sinks and the difference between them. They prices were also very good for the quality that we received.

Windsor bet the price of the big box stores for metal roofing and delivery was at a decent price. They also helped with any questions we had regarding the type of roof we should get.
