We hired EC Foundations to repair our foundation recently. Cracks were visible in the foundation and in the brick veneer. A test pit dug in one day and analysis of soil samples was conducted by engineers Morey Associates. Scott the owner explained what needed to be done and how long it would take. He took care of everything including dealing with the city for permits and with the consulting engineers regarding the needed repair. He also suggested how to proceed to get a large tree on my front lawn removed. This was a major project that required the excavation down to the footings across the entire front of the house, partway down the sides and inside the garage. It was gratifying to work with a group of knowledge workers. Everyone on the team knew their role every step of the way and helped move things along. There was no idle time with obvious collaboration among the workers. All our neighbours came by to comment how good these workers were, how clean their work was, how they were attentive to minimize disruption in the neighborhood. Communication from Scott and the crew about current status and what to expect next was excellent from beginning to end. The work was planned as a two-week project that was delivered on time and on budget. We are very pleased with the results and would recommend EC Foundations to anyone in need of foundation repair.
