I cannot say enough about how amazing this company has been. From our initial introduction of Sherri taking us their product and working with us to find the starting point we have felt in good hands. When Frank came to review our needs and design he set the standard and tone that other reviews are raving about. Insightful, knowledgeable, professional and he gave us the impression that he would ensure the completed job would meet all our expectations. On time and schedule, from Max on day 1 to Romi doing the installs then working with Mike on the countertop this team truly earned their stripes. Our kitchen presented a number challenges, but instead of complaining to us, they saw these challenges as opportunities to show their craftsmanship to get it done right. The finishing touch was Cyril who came to do the backsplash. Not the truest series of walls but he made the tiles look like the stars we had envisioned. While we were nervous about the outcome especially for me as a do-it-yourselfer, your continued support and confidence in ensuring we would be 100% satisfied with your teams work was truly appreciated and is a testament to your integrity and professionalism. We have had so many poor service scenarios recently it is refreshing to know that there are still businesses that take pride in their work and the value of a thrilled customer. I know there are only a couple small details to go but thought Id let you know how pleased we are in getting our kitchen into this century.

As an inexpensive means to reface our bathroom tub and tile, we contacted company A based on reviews etc. Experienced, hotel clients etc. All sounded good, from guarantee to no harsh chemicals etc, we booked them for the job. Next morning, a young man arrives to do the job and 6 hours later says he is done. When we go to review the work, there is overspray everywhere. Walls, window screen, fixtures. Even though he had taped the room off, nothing was left unscathed. Certainly not the work of an experienced expert. Our freshly painted walls would need to be redone. While he tried to wipe it clean, it was not possible without pulling the paint. At time of payment, we were told to make the cheque out to Reglaze Kings Ltd, not company we contacted which should have raised a flag. Had we confirmed first, based on reviews of Reglaze Kings, we would have concluded our business before it started. The young man explained the why, subcontractor/parent company, whatever. We paid. Ok, we can repaint. The screen unfortunately wasn't noticeable until later when the overspray had dried so a new screen was be needed. I contacted Sam that night who responded quickly indicating they would take care of the screen if we could not get it cleaned. We could not. Next day, Sam then said he would come by to pick it up and also check the tub for roughness. Nice. As the tub hadnt dried, we didn't inspect it carefully, but after doing so the next day we found the finish to be rough and the tub had many shard like points embedded into the finish. After a failed showing, busy with another client, Sam then needed to reschedule and asked for screen size. A good sign. He then inquired about the tub condition to which we sent photos. Sam responded saying the tub looked like orange peel, an apt description and the job was unacceptable, that it would need to be wet sanded and refinished. He would have Mike? schedule us in for 2-3 hours to get it done. Mike never showed. After another round of texts, it was confirmed Mike would come Saturday btwn 8-9. All sounded good til we got a call Saturday morning from the same young man who created the mess in the first place saying he was on his way. Sorry, no chance. We expected someone senior to repair the damage he created. Sent a text to Sam right away, his voicemail is continuously full, expressing our disappointment and looking for a reschedule with a senior person. Crickets. Another text. Crickets. We also sent an email to the original company that had spurred some of Sams responses and again crickets. No further contact. This falls in line with other reviews. Some fashion of work gets done, cheque is cashed followed by a series of concerned communications with nothing ever getting resolved, then ghosted. When we finally believed we had a set date, a text to confirm a time went unanswered and after 36 hours we decided to cut our losses and concluded our business with Reglaze Kings Yes, our tub and tile are now white. But certainly not to the expected finish we had been sold on.

Dodds lived up to their reputation. Stan listened to our preferences and provided options to match ultimately leading to the perfect door. It looks amazing. No false promises on time either. With the current status, we were advised of a realistic time frame for delivery. True to form the call came and the door was installed as expected. Using our existing closer, the door is quieter and sits tight to ground level. Well executed. Customer service has also been great. Calling next day to follow up on the install and offering to replace a trim piece that had a couple small nicks in it without hesitation or debate was refreshing. Highly recommend.

I can't say enough about Dave and the service he and his team provided. Our furnace was on the cusp of collapse with intermittent heat. Many sleepless nights waking up to a cold house. Oakville Home Comfort/Binnie Mechanical was one of several contractors I had brought in for a quote to replace the system. Their reputation and Trane product both had received very positive reviews. From the moment Dave arrived, things were different. He didn't come across as a salesperson but rather someone that wanted to work with me to solve the problem as efficiently as possible. He walked me through issues offering solutions along the way, even tackled a finicky starter on my BBQ as our conversations broadened. He advised me of his plan and outlined the many things I didn't need that had been suggested by other companies. I felt like he was a consultant working on my behalf and not simply trying to sell me a new furnace. He even offered to repair our existing unit to keep us going until we could arrange for the installation of the new one - at no additional charge! Based on our schedule and the lack of heat, we indeed contacted Dave to come back to get our old unit running and he and his colleague were by that afternoon to ensure we had heat for the night. That also provided peace of mind and finally a restful sleep. On the day of the installation, Dave and his team arrived on time and he walked me through the process of what they would be doing. There were only a couple of small snags that they were able to solve and after a few hours we became the proud owners of a 96% efficient new TRANE furnace with a powered humidifier to keep the house comfortable. If you are in the market for a new HVAC system, Binnie Mechanical should definitely be on your list. And even if you choose another contractor, you will feel more enlightened having spent time with Dave.

On a Friday morning, hot water tank cracked at seams - hot water everywhere. Thankfully home to shut off supply but expecting cold water weekend. Called Reliance. Mike arrived inside 2 hours. Surveyed tank. Had new one in truck . New tank in place 90 minutes later. No hassle. No fee. No pressure to upgrade. Left site clean. Hot water good in an hour. Awesome service.
