Eco Comfort was very accommodating with my schedule and needs to the overall attic retrofit. Project was broken up into 2 main parts (and hence 2 dates), removal of old insulation, and blow in of new insulation + baffle install. Both crews were very courteous and did what was expected. Very happy with experience and have been recommending to friends and family. Will definitely give them call back for my next insulation project.

Quality Potlight was great from start to finish. Customer Service answered all of my many questions. Installation day the crew was amazing, clean, proficient and ran through each of the locations to ensure we were happy. No issues arose during ESA inspection. I would not hesitate to rehire QP for any additional potlight or electrical work.

Darryl and team were very courteous and prompt with communications from the get go. We needed a tall tree pruned at the front as its branches could reach our roof line. High winds would allow the branches to knock against our soffits. It also enabled wildlife easy access to our roof and subsequently the attic. The team pruned the tree in a few hours, and left my property clean. Tree was left looking healthy, aesthetically pleasing, and most importantly away from my roof. Very satisfied with job. Will hire again for other arborist work around my house.

Thank you for the review. Locusts tree's are a favourite of ours to prune. We strive to give our customers the respect needed to in-still a sense of trust (especially when it's a client's first time hiring a tree care company). We are looking forward to hearing from you again in the future.

We had settled on a Caesarstone countertop for the kitchen (L + main sink cutout + faucet cutout, island + round prep sink cutout + faucet cutout). We received quotes from Ikea, as well as other countertop companies. In the end, we chose CGD, they were one of the cheapest. I highly recommend Lawrence from CGD. Communication with him was excellent, responsive, fast. Installation was great. Crew was prompt, professional, clean.

I purchased 5 doors from Home Depot and was looking for an installer. Tommy from Navida was the only installer willing to install the doors from a different manufacturer. He is extremely professional and proficient. We also had him install new aluminum capping on top of our old and worn out garage door framing to complete the look. We are extremely happy with his work and would be a return customer for any garage related work in the future.

As part of our kitchen renovations, we decided to remove the load bearing wall separating the kitchen and dining room. I found Rebuild The Planet via Homestars, and chose them over several other companies I had contacted. As with any renovation project, a week prior to Leuri and team coming in, I opened up the wall to discover that there were water supply lines, drains and a HVAC line. I didn't know whether it was my responsibility to have these removed before Leuri came in. He reassured me that there was nothing to worry. The job lasted 2 days, and I really didn't have to worry. There were a few hiccups, but Leuri took care of everything without breaking a sweat. Before we knew it, the wall was removed and the space completely redefined. City inspection passed with ease. Him and his crew were extremely professional and courteous. The job site was cleaned meticulously. As long as Leuri is in business, I will continue to use his services exclusively for any structural/framing projects that I have. Thank you Leuri and team, for guiding us effortlessly through one of the more critical phases of our large renovation. It has been a complete pleasure working with you.

While knocking out drywall of an exterior wall, I discovered contaminated insulation. I further discovered a live wasps nest behind the vapor barrier. Panicking as a it was the Victoria Day long weekend, I tried calling Pesticon. Waheed promptly answered, and said he would arrive in a few hours. Sure enough, he did. I showed him my problem, and he got rid of everything in the drywall INCLUDING the wasps nest. He also found the small entry point, which he showed me so that I could temporarily seal it up with some expanding foam. I also explained to him the other non-urgent pests around the home. He will return in a few weeks to work on those as well. He put my fears to rest, explained everything thoroughly, assured me that no other wasps were in other drywall cavities - all on a long weekend. What a guy. He's extremely knowledgeable, and it shows how much he know about each type of pest. I give him 10/10 for his professional emergency visit today.

Our home is approximately 25 yrs old. The original windows were in wood framing and was in the advance stages of rot. It got so bad last year that I was able to push my finger into the exterior casings. I resorted to temporarily patching the frame with caulking. As a result, none of the windows were operable. This year, we decided that we had to replace the windows. This would be an immense renovation, with all 27 windows and 2 doors replaced. We investigated many window companies for a long time. Our experience from start to finish with Ambia Windows & Doors was by far the best large-scale renovation experience we have ever had. Enter Tony from Ambia Windows & Doors. When I first got in contact with Tony, he was extremely polite and timely with scheduling appointments. He catered his appointments entirely around our schedule. The first appointment with Tony was at night. He came after another appointment in the area, and by that time it was already 7pm. We discussed the various options, types of windows and a ballpark figure on how much the renovation would cost. It was more of an informational session than anything. While we were evaluating other window companies, Tony and I kept in touch via email and phone. He was always very prompt at responding. In the end, we decided to go with Ambia. The professionalism that Tony presented gave us a very good feeling that the installation crew would be the same. The price was a little bit over our budget, but we felt it was worth it. To iron out all the tiny details and finish signing the contract to get the job underway, Tony came out and worked with us for 7 straight hours (6pm-1am). Once the contract was signed, it took about a month for the windows and doors to be made. The install crew came and the installation could not have gone better. It took a total of 4 days. The crew always cleaned up after themselves (each day), and was very courteous with our questions and poking around. The end result, was a stunning transformation of our home. We picked: - Heritage line - Prairie grills for all windows. This added a subtle but gorgeous accent to our home. - French all-glass prairie cut backyard doors, with Phantom screens. Tony, Igor and crew, thank you so much for being with us from start to finish. You guys were a true blessing, and we will recommend you in a heartbeat.

Our mice problem exploded this past spring when we started noticing fresh droppings in the kitchen. Since I had dealt with "A Animal Removal", I called them first. They told me that they don't deal with mice, and that I should give Kevin from "GTA Wildlife" as he's really good at solving mice problems. I did a quick search on Homestars and was very pleased to see the high number of ratings and high scores on his company. I gave him a call, and he was very prompt at scheduling an appointment. My girlfriend was home (I was not) when Kevin arrived on time (10am). We wanted to have him take a look around and outline how the mice were getting in and what could be done after the rodenticide was laid to prevent future infestation. His answers were not very informative. He was very brief in his descriptions and went straight to laying baits around the house. He was also not very receptive to my girlfriend wanting to show him all the places we observed mice droppings. He said that "he knew where to look". When my girlfriend pressed him for more answers, he said that "he was drunk from last night". We thought that this was very unprofessional. He also did not really give an answer as to why he chose the locations for the bait. This gives me the impression that he was placing the baits randomly instead of strategically. It has been 1.5 weeks after his arrival, and we have not seen fresh droppings. While we acknowledge that GTA Wildlife seems to have done their job at controlling the mice problem, the professionalism was not up to par with the Homestar ratings. We felt that we could have been provided more information and background on the mice problem. He could also have been much more professional with his customer service, we were left with many questions and not enough answers.

I was looking for a washer/dryer set and a gas stove to replace the ones we have now. Michael was extremely patient, and answered every question to our satisfaction. We did not know this at the time, but we stayed for 3 hours, which was 2 hours beyond his normal shift. His rapport and customer service in trying to meet all our needs was exceptional. He is not pushy, and gave us honest answers. He also went out of his way to try and reduce the prices as best he could. Thank you, Mike!

I recently had a raccoon problem in the attic, and needed a company to remove the contaminated insulation. None of the wildlife companies provided this service. I then found City Duct Cleaning. They were very puntual, they did an extremely thorough job without rushing, and were very professional. I would highly recommend this company to anyone experiencing a similar situation.

I've had raccoons coming into our attic year after year. I've tried every wildlife company in the yellowpages. This year, the raccoons had babies. I first used a different company to get the raccoons out of the attic, but the company didn't fix any of the damaged attic. I found Chris on homestars.ca and saw the numerous positive reviews and decided I had nothing to lose. True to the reviews, he was exceptional. He was extremely courteous, took his time to do the job RIGHT, and asked me to go up to the roof to check out his amazing workmanship. He patched up everything and closed off all entry points and pretty much animal-proofed the whole roof. I can finally sleep worry free! Thank you Chris! Hopefully this is a permanent solution. If not, Chris will be the one I'll think of when I need help!
