First off I have to tell you...I hate rodents.Last month after I went to lay down for a nap I heard something in one of my walls. I knew what it was from the scratching sound it was making. I didn't hesitate but grabbed my cordless phone and the phone book and started calling around. It seemed everyone I called couldn't come out and remove my problem. They all wanted to put me on a list and make an appointment. Everyone but Horizon Pest Control that is. When I called them they told me they would be out in about an hour to take care of my rodent problem. They did come out and they did take care of it. The gentleman was really nice and friendly even though I was half hysterically by the time he got out to my house. I haven't heard any more scratching since he was here. Horizon Pest Control deserves a big hi fiver for their service and friendliness. They are a 10 on my list and I plan on recommending them to everyone I meet.

I had passed by Kellys several times on the way home from work and often thought about stopping. I have to say I didn't really expect much from a smaller garden center. I am used to shopping at Lowes for all of my garden needs. But on Monday I decided to stop at Kellys and see just what they had to offer me in the way of their selections. I have to say I was really impressed. Their garden center was exceptionally clean and inviting. After browsing around a few minutes I had the information that I needed from a very helpful sales clerk and a few flats of flowers ready to be planted in my garden. I wasn't sure what it was I was looking for to plant, but the sales clerk helped me to decided what is right for the area that we live in and with the type of soil that I have. I have since planted my flowers in their beds and they look awesome. So a big high five to Kellys for their great service and knowledgeable clerks.

I found my way over to Mt Vernon the other day in search of something out of the ordinary for my sister's birthday. I happened upon The Heritage Crafts Shop and had to stop. The window displays were enough to drag me inside. I have to say this was the most extraordinary shop. Most of the crafts were handmade and unique. I had a hard time deciding what to purchase for my sister's birthday. So much to choose from ! I ended up buying her a handmade quilt and the cashier threw in a set of candles for a great discount.I felt right at home in this country shop. I have already recommended this shop to several of my friends and co workers.

Last week after all of the rains had left us here in Ky I had to have my carpets cleaned. The mud that had been tracked in was awful. I called around and was going to hire [another company], but I didn't like the way the guy on the phone talked to me. So I called Steam Kraft, and the sales person was very nice and informative. They gave me an estimate that I thought was fair. When Mark came out to clean my living room and bedroom carpets he was very professional and friendly. He cleaned them very well and even applied a stain resistant to them free of charge. I feel that this company gave me a great deal and yes I would recommend them to everyone.

Two weeks ago the motor on my refrigerator died. I shopped around town for the best deal on a new refrigerator and came across Wheeldon Appliance Sales & Service in the phone book. I called them and they told me that they could beat any price that I found around Somerset. When I went down to their store to see what they had for sale, I fell in love with a stainless steel refrigerator. The price was a little on the expensive side so I thought it was out of my price range. I talked to the manager and he told me he could be the price that they had on the appliance. After some wheeling and dealing with him he let me have it for $878 tax included. I couldn't have asked for a better person to do business with. He was extremely friendly and helpful. He explained all about energy usage and help me pick the right model for my home.
