Got quotes from 3 different contractors and Exterior by Design's was competitive. Two main factors contributed to choosing Exterior by Design: completion date and no "secondary" touches done by somebody else. Doing the complete job gave us peace of mind that no "blame" would be thrown around if something would not be right. The attention to detail of the crew and their workmanship was excellent. They frequently queried when in doubt about some possible design options and they worked timely to complete the job. The carpentry job done by Ryan was equally impressive as was his ability to "see" our design... without having one. Main reason I would strongly recommend Exterior by Design is because they took the time to listen and "make it right", meaning, help us materialize our vison, and we're very appreciative of that. Some communication issues, perhaps more annoying because we all contracted Covid at home just before the project started... Overall very good job and already considering more projects with them.
