Post renovation we had about 20 pictures to hang. This would have taken me who knows how many hours and to what level of frustration. Igal did a professional job hanging all the pictures and installed a couple floating shelves in a few hours. Having an old house he was able to deal with different surfaces. I have drywall, plaster on brick, plaster on wood frame, and even drywall on top of plaster. Igal had no problems dealing with all of this. He was also very helpful in arranging a collage of pictures. Everything looks so much more professional than anything I could have done. I would highly recommend ProHanging's services and will definitely use them again if needed in the future.

Company Response

Thank you Jay. Another important note is when hanging art, you need to make sure they are hung very safe on your walls, as there are kids and people around them. Enjoy!

A bit late with my review but I had to make sure I posted just how happy I am with the service provided by Archie and his team. In November I had all the windows on the main floor, two on the upper, and the front and back doors all replaced. In addition, I had the back door moved which required brickwork. Sobol was on time and on budget. Exactly what you want from a contractor I had about 5-6 contractors come and quote. Sobol was competitive with the all the professional companies out there. They are not a fly-by-night cheap job type company. They offered good value for my investment. Archie took the time to go over options, explaining where a retrofit vs a brick mould install would be better. He was very accommodating with the number of times I changed my mind on certain aspects of the project and was quick to update any changes to the quotes I requested. His team were very friendly and personable. They kept the project space very clean at all times. My house is finally draft free and warm!! I would absolutely recommend Sobol and will use them for any future projects.

Great service, friendly, and reasonable. I has some damage to the finish of a table top and needed to figure out if it was best to repair it or refinish the whole thing. Jeff provided a couple of options with associated costs so I could decide which way to go. They provided an on-site repair. They did such a good job anyone I show it to cannot see where the repair was done. Another great services was being able to deal with them online. I sent over pictures and a description and Jeff was able to work form that. Great when we have such limited time these days. I would recommend their service and use them in the future.

An absolute rip-off this company is. I called Butler's to come and repair a belt on a dryer. There was a base service call fee of $50 which I had no problem with. I understand it takes their time to come and assess the job. Upon arrival, the technician was not even in the house 5 minutes, did not even open the dryer to look at it, turned it on for about 5 seconds and offered a quote of $350. When I asked to explain what needed to be repaired I was told a blower motor was needed - yet the dryer was blowing and had heat. Then the technician refused to even open the top of the dryer and look in it to show me what needed to be repaired. Said I would be charged more time and money to do that. Then the surprise that another $10 was being charged to just walk in the house. The $50 was just to show up - no assessment of the problem. So $60 and they were not even willing to open the dryer and do any form of assessment. Horrible customer service. The technician got to the point of raising his voice at me in my own house. I would not recommend these people to my worst enemy.

I would never recommend this company to anyone. Take the money and run is the phrase. My job was started in December. It took until late January to finish attaching the line. It is now July 17th and they still have not returned to replace the interlock that was dug up. I've been calling for months and I'm still getting excuses as to why they have not showed up. Now they are saying they will be here on July 24th. Like most contractors, once they have your money you get nothing but excuses. UPDATE - So, this contractor did finally come and "finish" the job. The interlocking stone was put back but done poorly. They mismatched the pattern and didn't even bother to brush sand over it to seat and secure the pavers. Too bad the end of this job turned out so bad. The actual installation of the new water line and back-flow valve was done well and at a fair price. Why they didn't see this through to the end is beyond me. If they just did the job as quoted I would have given them a good review. I still would not recommend this company in the future.
