My A/C stopped cooling, the fan was going but it was blowing hot air. A friend recommended Dean Gartman and so we gave him a try. Dean was very courteous and really knowledgeable. He quickly figured out there was a leak, and that's why it wasn't cooling. On top of that apparently the outside fan system was really dirty and needed a cleaning. He cleaned up the system, and fixed the leak and added more coolant. He was in and out in about an hour, if not less. A little pricey in my opinion, but overall a good job.

I had been wanting to put tile in my dining room and get rid of the carpet there but wanted to do it myself. A friend of mine offered to help me so I decided to take him up on this. We went to Tile Depot, and I was surprised at their selection. They had a lot of different styles and sizes to choose from and their prices could not be beat. We had gone to other stores and I have to admit they had the better quality tile for the price. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable, even gave us a few tips. When I got home I started going through the tile boxes and found only a few squares cracked or broken. We were able to exchange this broken tiles for some good ones at no charge. Overall, I was very pleased with them.

We were debating whether to get curtains or blinds and we decided curtains for most rooms. We checked out Miller curtains and the prices could not be beat. I wished they had more of a selection, don't get me wrong, they have a whole warehouse of different styles and colors. Unfortunately for us some of what we wanted was in limited supplies. Still we were able to get enough panels and valances to do 4 rooms about 10 or so windows. Really friendly staff as well.

Was looking to upgrade shower heads and kitchen faucet. looked around and finally settled on massage shower heads from alsons for about $25 each. Then went ahead and got this sink faucet with sprayer from kohler for about $75. I talked to one of their plumbing experts, just to make sure I had everything I needed for install. I ended up getting some plumbing tape/seal, and some silicone to caulk. Overall install was a breeze, just as instructions, and did not need to use silicone, everything sealed pretty well, did use the tape on the shower heads.

Bought 3 pallets from Del's for my back yard. The sales people were very helpful explaining the differences between the grasses they offer, and the quantity I needed. With the three pallets I was able to cover 90+ percent of my back yard and I left an area uncovered to use as a vegetable garden area. They can install the grass or you can pick up yourself, they will load the pallets to your truck bed. Overall, each pallet had good grass with very few junk squares of bad/dead grass. Very happy with them.

Bought a sony 5.1 home theater sound system and had the guys at best buy install it. I already had the pre-installation done when I purchased home, so all cabling was internal. Setup was a breeze, they mounted the speakers on the different walls, and then configured it for "the best sound performance". Overall I am happy with the purchase and install.

Bought water softener from sears and it has been working great for a 2 story home. Sales guy was very helpful assisting me with selecting the right softener for my needs. Sears will also do free hard water analysis for anyone interested. The only drawback was that they would only install if you had preexisting water softener connection/lines, otherwise theey would only deliver and you had to contract a licensed plumber.

Guy came over and inspected area and was able to give a good estimate. He then came back during the weekend to do the installation. He was really fast (about 2-3 hours) which included digging under concrete and drilling through brick to connect pipes. Price was as quoted and was very satisfied with my installation.
