RED FLAG! We found Jonathan & his company Woodrow Contracting Group Facebook and took our chances. It's become painfully evident that we made the wrong call. When our 3-week bathroom reno began, we understood that there had been a project manager assigned and things appeared to be up and running. Quickly discovered that no matter how many times we asked what to expect nothing was going according to plan, beginning with Jonathan having pulled the project manager from our project. We began then to see that Jon himself was run ragged, did not have the ability to keep up with all the work he was committing to and it was impacting our job. We had a series of missteps with the company building our bathroom cabinetry and Jon completely dropped the ball in our laps to deal with most of the issues. He seized the opportunity to manipulate what he sensed was our impatience with him into redirecting that frustration at the cabinet company. I became my own contractor. Now, 2.5 months into our 3-week renovation, Jonathan has disappeared. He has attempted to remove any mention of Woodrow Contracting and his own profiles from social media as he knew his angry clients would be all over that. Any positive reviews for Woodrow or Jon that we’ve found online we can now identify as having been written by his own staff – we recognize the names. We are not the only clients whose project is sitting in a state of not being complete enough to use – there are some whose jobs are in a much worse state than ours and who are out far more money than us. He shut down operations, also abandoning his staff who have not been paid. We also have discovered that his contracted sub tradesmen were also not paid for any work completed in our home or on other jobs! Fair warning – while Woodrow Consulting Group may disappear – AVOID Jonathan in whatever form he may try to reinvent himself. He has proven himself not to be completely UNTRUSTWORTHY.
