When we first moved into our new house we noticed that the previous owners had left a reliable disposal trash can. So we called them to get service for us. After spending more than five minutes on hold I spoke with their representive. I thought the price was a little high, at $60 for 3 months, and i had to pay for 6 months upfront. OK, we paid it and was told the trash pickup would be on monday. So sunday evening I made sure the trash was on the side of the road(and we had alot from moving!) Tuesday morning it was still there. So I called and after once again waiting on hold I was told "oh sorry they didn't know because you're new, they'll pick it up next week". The following week we put the trash can on the side of the road and stacked the bags neatly next to it. Well they picked up ONLY what was in the trash can, and in the process knocked the bags all over my yard. I called yet again, and still really didn't hear anything helpful. Shortly afterwards I found a new trash company, and called to cancle Reliable. That was 4 months ago, and I still haven't recieved any of the money back, I had paid for 6 months of service, and only used 5 weeks. They are very rude on the phone, so I've given up and just condsider it a lesson learned.

I approached a worker and asked for help deciding what flowers would do best in my yard. i described the yard and the soil for her (i had already tested the soil for ph level) all she could do was point me in the direction of some books on gardening they had on display. I chose and purchased some flats on my own and at the checkout atttempted again to ask advice and was told " i really don't know" they have a great variety of plants and lancscaping tools, but really need to have more informed employees!

These guys are prompt and efficent at their job. they always take extra trash if i leave it neatly beside the can. When I called to start the account the person on the phone was super nice and quick at her job. they do a job i wouldn't want tto do and do it well!

I had to purchase lumber to build our new deck. I was given a list and a truck, and told to purchase it while my husband was at work. I probably could of gotten a slightly better price at a large chain store, but i like to buy locally, and i will admit, the big stores can be intimidating if you don't know what you're doing! I went to smith lumber and gave the man my list. he was super nice and not at all condesending. he got exactly what we needed, even loaded it on our truck for me, and assured me if anything was wrong just to bring it back and he would make it right. I was very pleased with this company!

These guys showed up late, took hours long lunches, and sometimes only half their crew would show up all day. they also appeared to bring extra people with them sometimes, maybe a girlfriend who just hung out. however they did do nice work, and were very reasonably priced. i guess you get what you pay for. the project was completed BARELy on time, and overall the work was very good, it was just extremely stressful for me!
