This is the second roof which we had done on our house, my husband past away so it was left up to me to hire the people to instal the roof. Most all of the neighbors use Cholette's Roofing, so i got an estimate which was average for the home. They arrived when they said they would, and started to remove the shingles from the roof since there where two layers and they had to be removed. I also had two roofs over my back deck and one over my side porch which where shingled as well, this is the problem which I could see. Under the back deck at the back of the house I could see right through the roof to shingles, which was suppose to be repaired, any wood that needed to be replaced, paid extra for this as well as the three foot piece of ice and water shield which was suppose to be put all around the house to prevent ice from building up, since I no very little about roofing I expected these people to do whatever was needed to prevent the roof from leaking, or install additionial vents etc. The back deck roof didn't even half tar paper on the edges, they said because it was not closed in the roof didn't need this, I called them back and had them re-do the back roof. Now I am sure they did not put this tar paper or whatever around the side deck roof, saying it didn't need it, since it wasn't closed in, now the roof is leaking, in the middle of the roof, I called these people up twice to come and look, and repair the roof, but they will not show up, don't hire these people
