Helaine in Desert Hot Springs

We had a couple of older dogs who had some problems at the ends of their lives and we had light blue pile carpeting that was pretty badly stained in the bedroom and living room. We had a guy come from Chem Dry of the Desert and although we had some trouble with language, he did a great job of getting most of the stains up. He did the entire house for a special pricing of $100.00 - it was some kind of promotional thing with coupons they send out in the mail. We thought that for the price, the work was great and there wasn't a lot of wet carpeting that we had to avoid walking on when he was done. I really think they are exceptional as a carpet cleaning service. Most of the others in the desert cost a fortune and the carpet is still stained when they leave.

We called this Mr. MacKay on a Saturday as our freezer stopped working. He came out and replaced the motor on the freezer, I'm thinking it was wiring that had burned out. He did a great job and came out even on a weekend and there was no extra charge. We were grateful for that as we're on a fixed income (soc.sec.) and it sure beat buying a new refrigerator/freezer!

The fan on the outside of our A/C unit went out and we called "A Best" to come and look at it. The man replaced the fan and only charged us $75.00 for labor and part. We were so happy as we thought it would cost a lot more than that. They were prompt and pleasant even though it was 114 outside that day. Thanks, A Best!
