Imran saved us ten years ago when he came to repair the gas fireplace in our new condo, which was in deplorable shape, right around New Year. He impressed us as the consummate gas technician. On time, courteous, knowledgeable, he educated us about our fireplace. He explained what he was going to do in order to find the problem. He proceeded step by step, showing what he was doing and what he would do if that did not work. He fixed a few things that were defective or about to get there. Our place was fixed during holidays and we were able to spend New Year with a perfectly functioning fireplace. Since then, every year, we ask Imran to service our fireplace. He is the same perfect technician, but we discovered a deeply human being hidden behind his professional skills. He has become a friend and we are almost looking forward his annual service call to talk about our families. Needed cleaning of two chairs, 2 loveseats and 2 cushions and a water and stain shield treatment. Quote was supplied promptly and so was the follow up. Appointment was set and the 2 employees arrived even earlier than anticipated but we had a 30 minutes notice. Work was done professionally and efficiently. Both employees were very friendly. Because the material was a soft brushed textile, we were warned beforehand that there was a possibility of some streaks showing due to the process. We accepted the risk. There were no streaks but the material lost some of its velvety texture due to the vigourous brushing. This is not the crew's fault, but the nature of the covering. We have used Imran’s services since 2013 when our fireplace would not work in our new condo. He came on January 2, the day we left a message on his phone. He fixed the problem and cleaned the fireplace and all components impeccably. We then asked him to do regular annual maintenance in 2017, 2018, 2019. You only want to deal with real professionals when it comes to any gas appliance. Imran is one of these professionals: knowledgeable in his field, courteous, always on time if not early, and his work area is spotless when he leaves. This year, I got a bonus: he discovered that my vent was in the process of disconnecting, which means that we could have ended as statistics in the records of death by carbon monoxide. He also suggested that we could have a remote to start, stop, program the fireplace, which we decided to buy as an added convenience. Called Marble Clinic based on Homestars reviews. Very rapid response to my request for quote, followed by visit of Amanda to evaluate work to be done. Due to a cancellation in their schedule, was able to get work done 48 hours later. Technicians arrived on time, were very polite and started work immediately. They polished and sealed entrance halway, in front of fireplace, guest bathroom and master bathroom, including vanity (in dire need of polishing due to many spots and watermarks) side wall of bath and shower stall. Many minor repairs were done, some of which we had not even noticed before. Work was finished promptly as estimated, and the place was left perfectly clean. The two technicians were polite, efficient, knowledgeable and friendly. We recommend Marble Clinic without reservation.

Since Imram repaired our condos fireplace in 2012, we have asked him to perform two additional maintenance cleanings over the years. He is knowledgeable and will leave your fireplace like new and the surrounding area of the chimney spotless. A very pleasant man, we hope he will continue to service our fireplace in the future.

Keith is very low key but knows what has to be done. We needed someone who does leather upholstery and got several quotes. We supplied the leather. Upper Canada had the lowest quote and we had seen some of his work on a couple of similar chairs, so we were at ease with the workmanship. Keith did the work while we were on a 9 day trip and the set was ready upon our return. Besides one minor detail (spacing and alignment of decorative nails could have been improved) we were extremely satisfied with our overall experience. As a result we have introduced friends to Keith and they are also giving him a full dining room set to re-upholster. Thanks Keith.

Selected through Homestars. Came promptly for evaluation. Was precisely on time (to the minute) the day and time specified. Did a fantastic job restoring marble floors in entrance hall, two bathrooms and front of fireplace. Fixed a couple of cracks and cleaned our granite kitchen counter. Very friendly service. No mess, no fuss. Result: like new marble floors. Beautiful. I highly recommended Roman for any marble restoration.

Bought a condo with gas fireplace that did not stay on. Called Imram who responded within 12 hrs, and I had an appointment 36 hrs later. Came in, evaluated work, described probable causes of the problem. The fireplace was 12 years old, did not look like it was never serviced since installation and showed intensive use. Quoted for service and replacement a couple of parts, but suggested replacement of another critical part which was visibly degraded and could fail any time. We agreed to immediate replacement. Work was performed diligently, very clean and Imram was a real gentleman. We are now enjoying the fireplace and will make sure to have it serviced once a year by Imram. Prompt response to request for quote. (Meeting set up within 2 hours of my email, on a Sunday). Quote submitted same day as condo visit. Work started within one week, on day and time stated. Work done diligently, over 5 days as estimated. Work quality was beyond our expectations. Peter is a friendly, competent painter and so were his employees. Vacuuming done when sanding, and everything picked up each day. Work done in difficult conditions due to cramped conditions (still many moving boxes unpacked) We highly recommend Peter and will use him if needed for another job.
