When I lived in Bloomington, I used to love to go shopping at Bloomington Antique Mall. They have many stores inside of two story building (and a basement). Although each store space is rather small, there are many different antique stores, so it was fun to look around. Some stores may sell old baseball cards whne another store sells collectible dishes. I could spend a whole day looking around. The store clerks were friendly but didn't bother me at all while I enjoyed searching for treasures (which I prefer). I highly recommend this Antique Mall for any antique collectors.

We use Comcast for both cable service and high speed internet service (cable modem). We pay about $100 per month for both services. They charge $5 as a late fee. For cable TV service, we get enough channels to entertain ourselves. For high speed internet service, it's very convenient since internet is ready to be used whenever I want to use it compare to dial up. Speed of internet connection is pretty fast although sometimes we have hard time connecting to the internet (due to a bad weather?). We are pretty happy with both services, however, I feel the cost of both combined ($100 per month) is a little more than competitors.

We made a couple copies of keys for the car when we get the car a few years ago. I think it was about $5 per copy of the key. It was very easy and didn't take any time. Although the store is small, they do great job (making copies of keys, at least). The location of the store is easy to access, too. I highly recommend this store to others.

We bought a bunk bed and 2 special mattresses for bunk bed (not regular mattresses, they are cheaper kind which is made for bunk beds only) a couple years ago. The bunk bed was about $200 and 2 mattresses were about $50 each. The store was huge with all kinds of furnitures. I looked though the store, and it looks like many of furnitures are reasonable prices. Although we had a little difficulty finding a salesperson when we needed him/her, the buying process was easy. We picked up the products by ourselves, so I am not sure if they deliver. The bunk bed is really nice for the price although cheaper mattresses are not great quality. Overall, I am very happy with the purchase.

When our oven broke, we shopped around to see if there's anything we like at our price range. We wanted to get a stainless steel (at least look-a-like) oven as a part of remodeling the whole kitchen we were planning to do near future. Of course, there were many nice models of ovens at stores, but they were more expensive than what we wanted to spend. So, we tried Sears Outlet store in Speedway. They sell scratch and dent products along with discontinued models. We decided to purchase there because they were having a promotion for Sears store card holders. We bought an oven with a slight dent on the side. Downside for this purchase was that they don't deliver the products, therefore, you have to pick it up. If you have a way to pick products up, you may find a good bargain there. Just make sure you fully check the products before buying.

Last year, a salesperson from APX Alarm system came by our house. At first, we were not interested in the alarm system. However, he was a good talker and I often felt a little nervous being myself and my kids when my husband was away. As a result, we decided to purchase the plan. He gave us start-up kit for free, so it only cost us $39.99 monthly fees (for a 3-year contract) to start using the system. Later the same day, an installer came to the house to install the system for us. It was super easy process to get the system set up. The system is very easy to use. Every time we lose an electricity, they call to reminder us for setting the system again (just push the button). I have been feeling safer at night and while we are away from home.

My in-laws bought a outside playground set for my boys a couple years ago. They bought it at this Menards store by their house, then brought it to our house. Although the playground looks big on the manual, the store gave them only one box. As we started building it, we realized there must be another box for the kit. As it turned out, somebody at Menards forgot to give my in-laws 2nd box although they asked the employees to see only one box comes with the kit. It was a big hassle for them to go back to the store to pick up another box later. Although we had this trouble, the quality of the playground is very nice and durable. We are happy with the purchase over all.

We were looking for hexagon tiles in black and white for our bathroom floor a couple years ago. We shopped at several local stores for them, but only way we could get them was a special order which was a little more than our budget. We got a referral to this Greenwood Marble & Tile store. The location of the store was very easy to find, just at downtown Greenwood. The selection of the tiles was very good, and ordering what we wanted was easy as a pie. Most of all, the price was very reasonable. The tiles were very beautiful. I highly recommend this store for anybody looking for tiles and marbles.
