Wanted a company with a good reputation which would stand behind its work. Avenue Road Roofing was the only name that came up consistently, though with a warning of higher prices. Their estimator came out as requested immediately -- I had a sudden leak, which he repaired temporarily while he was on the roof assessing and photographing the problems. Their roofer Viktor started the day they said he would, finished the next day, cleaned up completely as promised. Then Kaz their inspector came over to ensure the job was done well and that I was happy. He answered my questions and gave me his card in case of future questions. I called a week later about what I thought was a problem. Kaz came back, went on the roof, said there was no functional issue, but added a shingle for my aesthetic satisfaction. Surprisingly, he also fixed my leaky eavestrough -- unrelated to Avenue Roofing! Kaz is a delight to work with, actually caring about customer satisfaction. From the first person who took my call, to Deanna who understood my urgent need to complete before winter, to Victor and Kaz, I felt my needs and wants were well addressed -- and will be, if anything comes up in future.

They arrived to do quote on date and close to time promised. The job was re-estimated by a second person from the company, but at a higher cost. They said they would stick with the lower original estimate. Job was completed in a timely manner and looked good on completion, with water directional flows away from house (as desired and necessary to prevent basement problems). A contentious issue which arose during the paving was resolved immediately to our satisfaction, though it meant more costs to the company. Professional, prompt, easy to work with -- and they took Visa.
