This was a relatively minor job but Andes responded quickly to our post on Homestars. They quickly gave us an estimate and we settled on a time for the work. Rob and his assistant were diligent throughout, even calling to say they may be delayed half an hour. This is a refreshing change from other contractors who don't seem to care about keeping their clients in the loop. The work is of excellent quality. The premises were left as clean or cleaner than before. I fully recommend Andes for your home improvement projects. I know I will use them again.

Our home is 102 years old and the staircase needed to either be replaced or completely refurbished. We also wanted to replace all the trim around the windows and doors as well as having the staircase leading to the basement rooms sanded down and re-finished. Alex undertook the work and did an excellent job. He is meticulous, perfectionist even. He does not take short cuts and he insists on doing the work the proper way. Because of the age of our house, very little in it is square or straight which poses certain challenges when renovating. Alex took the time to make sure the work was done right. He also consulted with us all along the project to make sure that things were being done the way we wanted them. The work took longer and was more challenging than initially anticipated but the results are excellent. We are totally pleased. On a more personal level, we found Alex to be a man of great integrity and extremely respectful. We have already recommended him to others and won't hesitate to do so in the future.

M & R did a great job replacing my shingle roof; putting on a new flat roof; and, installing a new skylight. The job was done on schedule; the crews were totally professional and pleasant; and, they did a great job cleaning up. They even swept my neighbour's front porch! They also added little extras, like washing our dormer window and getting us in touch with an electrician so that we can finish the interior of the skylight. The work was done exactly as agreed to and on budget. Both Maciej and Marcin were terrific to deal with and ensured prompt follow-up to any question we had. I would definitely recommend them to others.
