Assisted Review

An assisted review is collected by a contractor on behalf of the homeowner after their work is completed. The homeowner must confirm the text of the review and may make any changes she or he deems appropriate. The homeowner then assigns the contractor a review score out of 10. Assisted reviews receive the same scrutiny as other reviews and must follow our review guidelines.

My company used Jamison Furnace's services to perform significant maintenance of two residential furnaces. During all phases of this work- quotation, material sourcing, and installation- Mr. Jamison delivered a high level of service which result in a job being done on time, within budget as quoted, and to my satisfaction. There were no surprises, even though the work was challenging. I will use his services again as future needs arise. Sincerely, Wayne Rae

With a little forethought and planning, most scheduled repairs and installations go fairly smoothly, and replacing the heat exchangers in both your furnaces was no exception. True the work was challenging, but that is the nature of, and reason for, specialized trades, and also the reason you hired us in the first place; a qualified tradesman should certainly be able to overcome the challenges they face in plying their trade without great difficulty. Have used Ray and his crew for past 4 years on 3 different jobs. These guys do a great job in removing trees in tight places. Never a problem with suprises or damage. Details like yard clean up taken care of, and no surprises on price.

Have used this supplier for 2 jobs over last two years. Have found them reliable, on time and providing good product. Invoicing and payment all handled efficiently. Will continue to use for any replacement job.

Any advice to offer fellow homeowners facing a similar project?
Get quotes and timelines for job execution before selecting the contractor. This supplier (Active) does what they say they're going to do.

We were searching for a way to update to our 35 yr home. Vanessa helped us design a look and colour scheme. John, Mike and the rest of the team made it happen- on time and on budget. We're thrilled with the result, and will use MCM again for our next project.
