After the April 2018 ice storm my neighbour and I needed to replace our joint flat roof. Mike came quickly to offer a quote, rearranged existing work to accommodate our leaking roofs, headed up a team that took time to produce quality work and followed up on some very minor problems. I understood his explanations, was able to make informed choices and am quite satisfied.

This is the second time I have relied on Wellington Electrical to quickly come to my home to address a circuit breaker issue in my home's electrical panel. John @ Wellington Electrical Solutions was referred to me by a business contact. I e-mailed him and quickly received a response and a time that day that he would arrive at my home. After explaining a bit of history with multiple stoves using the same circuit/circuit breaker, John was able to diagnose a faulty circuit breaker, spent time showing me the results of arching/sparking in my electrical panel and quickly replaced the circuit breaker. Extremely knowledgeable and easy to talk to...I highly recommend him.

Glenn: You may not have realized when you got into the firewood business that you would be called a “life saver” but you are. We were out of power for 48 hours, just getting it back on early Tuesday morning, and the only thing that kept us in our house was the fireplace and the great wood that you delivered this fall. We really didn’t have anywhere else to go and couldn’t find a hotel with our 2 cats. We were quite comfortable in the family room beside the fireplace while the rest of the home dropped well below 15C…we’re starting to warm up now just in time for some really cold temperatures. Several weeks ago, I contracted for 3 repairs to my home - an emergency plumbing leak in my kitchen, a drain backup problem with a second kitchen and a downspout replacement. I was quoted $1400 for approximately 6 hours of work on a Sunday and thought that although the quote was a bit high, it was for work by a licensed plumber on a Sunday. The emergency kitchen leak was fixed, the downspout wasn't even attempted and a half-hearted attempt to fix the drain problem in my second kitchen with a replacement pipe was performed...took 2 hours for everything but the "quote" was still enforced...moral of the story - overestimate the time to justify the quote - won't be sucked in again.

I asked Brent to install a downspout according to the Mandatory Downspout Disconnection regulations affecting my home. Not only did he install the downspout marvelously, he drained it into a newly purchased rain barrel, he inserted an electrical cable to keep the downspout from freezing (it froze last winter after only 1 1/2 years) and worked tirelessly to ensure not a single water drop leaked. I highly recommend Brent not only for downspouts but also for any roofing projects.
