My garage door was having issues this winter due to one of the wheels/rollers constantly popping out of the railing. As the garage closed the roller would jam into the rail and bounce back up. I was forced to get out of my car and hammer the roller back into the rail everytime. Found Steve here who was prompt with his responses and nothing short of quick to provide me with an estimate and a turnaround time of less than a week to get to me. On the day he was to come, he kept me updated with his schedule and when he would arrive. He did a maintenance service which included fixing the rollers and lubrication etc. Garage thus far has been smooth and has not given me any issues. Definitely smoother than it was before and quieter again. Thanks Steve.

I inherited a terrible lawn from the previous owner, that was laden with ants. Even after landscaping and putting new sod in the backyard, the ants found a way to make a giant hill out of my new lawn. On top of that, they were running from the side lawn through my new patio into the backyard. It was unsightly sitting at my patio table to see these ants going back and forth. I tried multiple things on my own to no avail. That's when Joe came by. He offered a variety of options for me. We opted to go with a probe of the large massive ant hill. Additionally, he sprayed my patio down with the repellant. So far so good. No ant hills coming back, yet and ants have more than avoided our patio ever since. We do see the odd one here and there, but not the steady stream that was there before hand. Even thinking of having joe spray around our perimeter and possibly other areas now seeing how well his repellant worked. Thanks very much Joe.

The ant hill was huge indeed. The issue was getting the nest killed off and ensuring that fleeing ants were not going to venture any where near the house. My approach on this particular job was to apply large amounts of insecticide directly into the nest via a 4 foot termite rod. They didn't even know what hit them.

Received a personal quote from Mike (the owner) and was given a very competitive quote. We felt 100% comfortable with having him do our painting, especially while we were not home. Mike runs a 2 man team with himself and Joe, but Joe was the main guy who did all our painting and we couldn't be more happy. He was friendly and talkative and was very detail orientated when reviewing each room with us and where his progress was. Mike was always courteous and provided quick responses over emails or phone calls when we had questions. Overall words can't really express how they were able to finish the job faster than anticipated and maintaining professional workmanship. We would not hesitate to bring them back in the future, except they've essentially already painted everything for us and we have nothing else left for them to paint. (we only did not have them do the 4 bedrooms) Also to boot, they did a lot of extra touch ups for us that we didn't expect which was incredible service, especially when they didn't have to. Thanks again Joe and Mike.

We had approximately 27 potlights installed, 10 upstairs and 17 downstairs. Mr. Potlight has two teams, and the team that showed up to our place was headed by Arman, Fred, and Tony. The three arrived early in the morning and worked super hard into the afternoon to get everything I needed done. They provided great input and did not try to get me to install extra lights that I did not need. They worked well as a team and did not have give me any hint of being inexperienced, that being said they were very good at what they did and when I asked questions they graciously gave me insightful answers. Like many other people here, they also helped me do additional wiring for some other electrical items and did it without giving me a hard time. For the most part, it was a no mess day, however when dealing with drywall, you're gonna get some dust somewhere, so anyone who expects it to be "100% dust free" that won't happen. They also did a great job patching up any old light boxes we had removed. Made things a lot easier for us when repainting. Again very happy with the work they did and the price. Very courteous bunch as well. Thanks again Arman and team.

Stonescapes did my front walkway as described to me. They provided quotes within 2 days and stuck to their costs, no hidden fees and the job they did was great value for our money. They offered quotes on numerous products and even obtained more quotes when we asked for different products. The crew kept us up to date on their progress and were friendly throughout the process. They finished the work in the time promised and were able to complete some extra things like edgers for me as requested after the job began. Excellent work and great customer service even after installation was finished. Would recommend to friends and neighbours. EDIT: Requested stonescapes to come back to help fix some issues caused by polymeric sand sticking onto the stones, but they could never fit me into their schedule. I had a feeling they didn't want to prioritize me with other jobs in the way. However, the work was still done well but just want to note the after service may not be reliable.

For installation of steps, I would request natural stone going forward as the process of moving steps into place can be quite difficult, we saw some damage/chips to our man-made steps (Stone-Link). Use natural stone, because even if that chips, at least it will still look natural.

Stonescapes applied the polymeric sand correctly and the customer was happy with the job. We suggest not to wash the new pavers with a powerwash as it will wash out all the sand. This customer did not want to wait until we got there to reaply the sand so he decided to apply the sand himself incorectly therfore causing the sand to stick to the brick. Our customers are our number 1 priority and we try our best to solve any issue in a timely fashon.
