I have been a repeat customer of Home Again since they opened. Need to find a door similar to those in your home? Look here. Need a doorknob? A sink? A counter? Great deals on recycled materials. They also carry a lot of new stuff, with a great selection of tiles. Tons (literally) of marble the last time I was there, as well as slate and ceramics.

Long a favourite of contractors, Fulford Supply (formerly Fulford and Blakey) is definitely a place to find both that strange plumbing fitting and good value on more common items. The staff is very friendly and helpful, although if you are not a regular, you will have to wait while they serve their contractor customers first (hint: Don't go first thing in the morning)
