Jeremy is a first rate craftsman and carpenter. We needed to replace a custom-made garden gate that was damaged beyond repair. Jeremy built us a perfect replica in just a few days using better materials, stronger screws, better finish and an ultra-precise fit. He installed it beautifully, worked efficiently and brings a kind of sunny joy to his craft. Kris Denmark is a gem: totally professional, a gentleman, and best of all, willing to adjust his schedule to work around other tradesmen. We needed to have our gas hot water tank disconnected for two days to do some waterproofing in our basement. It was then to be moved and reconnected, and we scheduled Kris to do both. When our waterproofers asked for an additional day to complete their work, we called Kris to reschedule the reconnection. To our mutual dismay, Kris was going out of town that day, but rather than leave us without hot water over the weekend, he offered to stop by in the evening after the other workmen had left. We were delighted.

I phoned several plumbing services early in the morning to get an estimate on clearing our clogged kitchen drain. They said they'd have someone call me back, or could send someone out "this afternoon". But Mike at Public Plumbing took my call promptly, arranged to come to my house that morning, arrived on time, gave me a firm - and competitive - cost, and set to work with professionalism and real expertise. When the snaking didn't clear the drain Mike was ready with a larger machine, which did the trick. He cleaned up everything neatly when he'd finished, gave me some useful advice on preventing future clogs and was helpful and courteous throughout. I'd recommend Mike anytime! Those other guys? I'm still waiting for them to return my call......
