Eric was a consummate professional, highly dedicated and extremely hard working. We contacted Optimicity to transform our bland landscape into a private oasis and Eric went beyond expectations. He was patient with our needs and vision, while providing sound advice and expectations. Most impressive was the long hours he put in dealing with some of the more difficult aspects of the project and the successful solution to those problems. I would not hesitate to hire Optimicity again and we are looking forward to Eric's advice and help this fall for additional work.

After watching Holmes on Holmes in which Simply Closets was featured, my wife and I had them install a floor to ceiling wall system in our bedroom. The owner came by and was extremely professional, organized and the price was reasonable. We agreed to the installation. What happened next was a complete disaster, which we are still living with today. They installed the units in an unlevelled manner and the custom doors where/are warped. In fairness, they did try to replace the doors with a workaround, but it wasn't what my wife and I had wanted and could have gotten from another supplier. Only after threatening to sue, did Simply Closet refund us $1000.00, which was to go to the next contractor to fix the problem. Unfortunately the whole thing has to be replaced.

Approximate cost of services:
$4,500.00
What could this company do to improve their services?
The company could have owned up to their installation mistake and have taken immediate control of their suppliers warped doors. Instead they fumbled around for several weeks trying to find work arounds. Sometimes you just have to bite the bullet and admit that your work wasn't what it should have.

My biggest mistake was being understanding. We should have stated right from the start when things were looking bad that we didn't like the work or craftsmanship. Unfortunately, we are typically Canadian and try to roll with the process to the contractors benefit. In this case, they should have ripped it out and rebuilt it.
