In a bit of a panic as we only have one bathroom. Called around noon. Mr Rooter had Luke there by 2pm. Luke was friendly, informative and soon had the tub and sink snaked out and working again. I mentioned that I needed a new kitchen faucet sometime and could I make an appointment with him for another time. He said he could do it right now. Had the needed parts in the truck and presto, I have a new kitchen faucet installed. He was so nice about everything. And in the time of Covid he came masked and bootied and fully armed with disinfective sprays and cleaned as he went. We couldn’t be more pleased. Thanks, Luke.

Hello Jane,

thank you for taking the time to share your positive experience with our technician Luke and Mr. Rooter of Mississauga. Mr. Rooter Plumbing is available on your schedule, so don't hesitate to call any time of the day or night. We understand plumbing issues aren't courteous enough to happen between convenient business hours, but Mr. Rooter Plumbing is. Our plumbers draw from years of training and experience with kitchen appliances to produce an accurate estimate before they start on the job. They explain exactly what steps are required for the repair or replacement and how much it will cost so you can decide if you want to go through with it. You always have the options and variety. In this time, we insure that you are safe and are in the right hands. Thank you for taking the time to leave a review! Do not hesitate to call us if you have any plumbing issues.

G Bates was supposed to replace my entire sewer line in 2000. They left some old clay pipe rather than finish the job and they also angled the last 5 feet so that the sewage pooled and the pipe was destined to clog and fail. It did. All this having been inspected by the City of Mississauga as per building permit! This diagnosis confirmed by the Region of Peel. After reading the HomeStars reviews, I contacted Master Drains and Water Works and arranged for the repairs to be done. Vitily Dymchuk came when he said he would, his 2 men dug the hole and did the repair and left my place looking very clean and tidy. They explained the problems they encountered and their account jibed with that of the Region of Peel. I was somewhat surprised that Vitily did not return to inspect the work before the hole was filled in but all appears to be working fine once more. This was a good experience and the cost was competitive with the other quotes I received. I recommend this company.

In 2000 I had a sewer backup and on the recommendation of my insurance company, ING ( now Intact ) I contracted with Bates Plumbing to replace my sewer line from the house to the street. It has now backed up and the reason is they left one foot of the old pipe in the ground. Why no one knows. The Region of Peel has confirmed this. Bates will not even return my phone calls to them asking for an explanation and reparations. I think this is disgusting. It has now been 7 months and I am going to have the repairs done at my own expense. And by the way, a building permit only means the city inspects the work done, not the work contracted to be done so no one is responsible. Be wary of this company and jump in the hole to do your own inspections!
