I had heard good things about Barbecues Galore and so went to take a look and hopefully pick out a new BBQ. I was browsing for a while before I was offered assistance - and I didn't find the assistance to be very helpful. The person that was advising me didn't seem too sure about any of my questions and really didn't help me at all. However, I went ahead and selected a BBQ for purchase. I used the assembly service and had a 7 day wait to pick it up - this was fine. I asked if it was ok to pick it up myself, and not pay the $100 delivery charge. I was assured this was not a problem. When I went to pick up a week later, all was smooth, 2 guys helped to load into my car and off I went. When I unloaded, a piece of the BBQ fell off, and it seemed that the door had not been assembled properly. When I contacted them to report this, I was told it was because I had used my own transport and they advised against this. I told them that I had specifically asked about this and had been assured it was fine to transport myself. In the end, they offered repairs to the BBQ, and it has been a really great BBQ, no complaints at all - however not so happy with the services provided.
