Doors ordered July/2008. Received late fall 2008 after many excuses. Hinge holes in wrong location. They said they would remake all doors and almost 2 years later don't have them. They wrote a new excuse book. 'm still trying but very doubtful will ever receive the doors.
We aquired several quotes and reviewed the companies. Brookside was in the middle pricewise and able to do the job within our time frame. The original quote was much lower than the final price but not without reason. It turned out that we had 4 layers of shingles, except at the edges, and much of the roof sheeting was rotting. I think fly by night roofers were used in the past and scammed the previous home owners. Bill, Brookside Roofing owner, was really good at explaining this to me and suggested how he could go about rectifying this and give us a sound worry free roof. After the roof was stripped they had to resheeted one complete side before reshingling. Rot had set in from the heat due to lack of proper roof ventilation and the 4 layers of shingles. The job was well done, good venting was installed and the site was spotless when the job was complete. After the crew was gone I weent up into the attic and noticed a few roof boards that should have been replaced. I called Bill to talk about this and within a couple of days his boys were back and made the neccessary repairs. I would recommend Brookside Roofing if your in need of an new roof. This was done 2 1/2 years ago and with all the snow this year there was a small leak which I will be talking to Bill about and I'm sure it will be made right as their work is garanteed.
