Installed a metal roof on my leaking veranda at the front of my house. Has a peaked roof so difficult to do-lots of cutting. Did a great job. Cleaned up the work site well.

Backous construction was contracted through Rona to install 2 storm doors in my older home. Did a great job. Took the old doors away and left no mess behind. Another contractor said would never get a door to fit the front but Ben was able to do it.

I would recommend this company especially for an older home. Jamie does a good job of measuring, giving options and quoting a reasonable price. The installer is efficient and lots of experience. Had to remove a board at the bottom of my old kitchen window and was able to do a fix with a smaller board at the bottom that just needed to be painted. 2 kitchen windows and 1 basement window replaced the last 2 years. If I had lots of money, I would get all the windows done by Designer's Choice

Update August 2013 Taylor Wolters has come and completely redone my house. Prep work was done well and efficiently with the aid of belt sanders.. The Paint job was done well- no missed areas. Covered well. Ashley, who helped with the painting, is a good painter, and pays attention to detail .I am totally pleased with the turn about. Thank you to Lindsay Boon for getting this project back on track. I would now recommend Student works painting. .
