I hired Chinook Landscaping to build some stone planter/garden beds at the front of my house on either side of my door steps. I explained a little of what I had in mind & the man drew up a sketch for me. They were able to begin the work within a week of me giving them the go ahead, I like that we didn't have to pay a deposit. They did a beautiful job, my lawn sort of slopes downward on the sides but they built into the hill to make very level beds. Everything is very clean & meticulously done and I now have thriving beautiful flowers growing. It really upped up my curb appeal & I am very happy.

In our new home we have a lovely large 100 sq ft walk in closet but the standard shelving & racks that is was fitted with wasted so much space & we really couldn't fit anymore in there than we did in our 40 sq ft closet. Home Solutions fitted us with a wonderful set up, they drew something up according to our needs, taking into consideration the number of shoes we have, space for small items such as jewellery & hats. We have drawers half way up the wall on every side, with hanging room above & more shelves about that for things we only use seasonally, there is also a small island/dresser in the centre that utilizes a lot of otherwise wasted space. They were a wonderful company to work with, so considerate, clean, prompt (The actual install was completed in one day.) & affordable. I would love to have work done by them again. It feels like a personal shopping experience every time I walk into my closet.

Reliance Protectron came to our door offering an Alarm System Install. The man was very knowledgable, gave us information on the rate of break-ins in our area, the number of people with Reliance in our area & benefits to having the system. We agreed to have it installed for $50, the installer came about an hour later, cut a hole in the wall above our thermostat & inserted the key pad. He did a very good job, cleaned up all of the drywall dust etc. He took as much time as we needed explaining how to use the system, how to set passwords, walked us through various scenarios (break in, locked out of the house, false alarm etc.) They are a great company & I would definitely recommend them to anyone in need of an Alarm System.

Nutri-Lawn was going door to door offering Lawn Aeration for $40, so we decided to go with it since we'd had some previous trouble with our front lawn being very dry & not growing well. The aeration process only took about 10 minutes, they had their machine with them. We've seen a big improvement in our lawn's growth & will definitely be doing it again next year.

This spring we hired PLANiT to build a 22'x22' detached garage, we heard about them through a flyer we received in our door. (I had also seen there vehicles & recognized the name) They seemed pretty reasonably priced, they took care of all of the permits, didn't have any trouble matching the siding or trim on our house (which is a problem a few of our neighbours ran into when building themselves), and it was finished within a week. I was recommend PLANiT to anyone in need of a lovely new garage.

We recently had a fence installed in our newly developed community. Calgary Fence & Deck came out and gave us a free quote, it took him about 15 minutes to measure & calculate the cost, we received an e-mail the next day and were able to begin the building process within two weeks. Everything was beautifully & professionally done, they even took care of the drawings & acquiring a permit from the city. The price was a bit of a draw back, it seemed a bit expensive (about 55 ft of fencing & two gates) but we are happy with the end result & the privacy we now enjoy.

We loved working with Divine Hardwood Flooring. They were extremely knowledgeable in helping us decide what would best suit our needs, from how much foot traffic, whether we have children, what colour scheme, humidity/water traffic etc. All of these factors have come into play since we have had the flooring. The dark mocha coloured hardwood looks great, it doesn't chip when our children drop numerous things on it everyday, it hasn't buckled or warped with wet boots or dishwasher humidity. The installation process was seamless, taking only two days to complete our entire home. I would absolutely use Devine again & would recommend it to anyone.

We went to Ensuite to select our bathroom & kitchen fixtures (Sink faucets, shower heads, sink bowls, toilets etc.) They had a good selection to choose form in a varying price margin which made us feel that we could get a nice, modern looking product without paying top dollar. I wasn't impressed with the glass bowl sinks we ended up receiving, they didn't have the actual model in the store but assured us it was a nice colourless clear glass when in actuality it is quite blue. There also seemed to be a bit of miscommunication with the toilet we had chosen, we had to have it removed & the correct low flow toilet installed.

We love our countertops from Granite Worx. The showroom was beautifully set up, the yard beautifully stocked & the staff was very helpful when we went in for our consultation. They helped us to pick out the best granite for us; the best colour to compliment the rest of our finishes, the best corner/edge profile (mostly flat for a modern look, but slightly curved incase little heads bump into it.) I would recommend Granite Worx to anyone looking to get a high quality, beautiful product with very knowledgeable & professional staff & installers.

We used Wildwood Cabinets for our newly built home, the purchase & installation went smoothly enough. We went to their showroom to choose our cabinet profile & stain, we went with a shaker style door in a mocha finish. I love the look of the cabinets, I wouldn't change them. The only issue I have is that two of the drawer faces have come loose via the plastic screw/peg that holds them together. You can smack it back into place but I feel that only being two years old this shouldn't be happening. Because we surpassed our one year warranty we don't qualify for a free repair.

We had our entire home fitted with White Wooden Venetian Blinds from Cordell's Point of View Window Fashions. We went into their showroom for an initial consultation & once we'd decided what we wanted they had a saleswoman come to our home & help us decide all of the details for every window in our home from how many drawstring pulls, which side would operate opening vs. pulling up, which windows didn't require any (the window beside our front door), etc. She was very knowledgable & presented things we hadn't considered such as what the colour would look like from outside the house when they were closed & not just the interior colour scheme. It did seem to take quite a while to have the actual installation done, about 3 weeks after the consult. They did however provide us with temporary peel & stick paper blinds until ours were ready.

We were having problems with our toilets, they were leaking water from the tank into the bowl & wasting a lot of water, causing our utility bills to go through the roof. Our landlord called Lynx Mechanical because they were the initial installer, they came out the next day, they looked at the toilet & immediately new the problem & explained it all in detail to us. They replaced a part in the tank that stop the leaking, the work & materials cost about $75 but because they were the initial installer they waved the repair fee. I was extremely impressed with the work & would have happily paid but they wouldn't hear of it.

I would recommend Hubbard Roofing to anyone looking to have work done on their home. I found out about them through a phone call directly from Hubbard Roofing, they were going to be out in my area doing free roof inspections & so I agreed to it knowing it needed replacing. They gentleman that did the inspection was very prompt, knowledgeable & professional. I went on to purchase the roof & the installers were wonderful, very professional, very polite, didn't leave any mess behind at all. Our new roof looks beautiful. I would absolutely recommend Hubbard Roofing to everyone.

I went into Home Depot Okotoks with no idea how much a fence would cost or really how to install one at all and they were extremely helpful. They gave me a very detailed quote, explaining every cost & where it fits into the final product. They gave me lots of free tips & advise on how to go about installation, the man even drew me a step by step guide on how to put up a fence. I was very impressed with the quality of customer service, they went above & beyond.
