I've used Rickey three times; first was for frozen pipes. Now obviously, when your pipes freeze, there's likely a lot of other people with the same problem, but he showed up within an hour, and had the job done very quickly. It seemed pricey, but I figure I was paying for his expertise, and if the pipe had of burst, he would have been right there. Also, I doubt he was any more expensive than other plumbers. Second time, I had a problem with the toilet. He came over, told me all I needed a new flapper (he didn't have the right kind on him) and tightened some bolts. Took him 2 minutes. Cost: $0. A lot of plumbers would have charged for the service call. Third time was today. Another toilet problem. I called him and described it, he thought it was just a blockage and told me if I had a closet auger to try and clear it. I did, it worked, again, $0. Definite recommend.

They did a good job. My main (only) complaint is that they were about 1.5 hours late.* Once they got there, everything was nice and smooth. The guys were friendly and knew what they were doing. All done in 3 hours. *Was originally told that they'd be there between 2-3 pm; Joe called about noon to tell me they'd be about an hour later than that, but they didn't get there until 4:30. To be fair, trafic was heavy, but that's the sort of thing you should plan for. Since I only had the elevator until 6pm, I got nervous.
