Things we really appreciated about this very big renovation project that Hickey Construction took on. 1. Excellent working relationship with all crew members. We also could tell that they respected one another as well. 2. Daniel and Tyler were always aware that budget MATTERED. But also wouldn't let us take inadvisable shortcuts for the sake of budget. They often gave great advice and feedback. They were open to thinking about ways to help save along the way as well. Other contractors we interviewed didn't seem as empathetic. 3. Despite material shortages in the industry which created delays they tried their best to stay on time. 4. Clean up. Everyday clean up was done thoroughly even when they knew they'd be back the next morning. 5. Almost forgot...the job was well done. Only very minor adjustments had to made after the final payment was done and they cheerfully responded to our minor call backs. Even when challenges inevitably arose this was a great project well done !
