We have been meaning to write this review since last fall. Joshua did an excellent job with our driveway, stone steps and metal edging. We get so many compliments! The metal edging was his idea and we love the way it is naturally rusting. It was a great idea! Highly recommend Joshua. He is fantastic.

We are in the midst of a kitchen renovation and we hired Dima Plumbing to install a water line for our fridge, as well as change some plumbing for us under the sink for our new sink. John and Andre were professional from start to finish, extremely easy to communicate with, fast, reliable, efficient, on time and went above and beyond to deliver the best possible job for a very fair and reasonable price. We are dealing with many contractors right now and consider them one of the best we have dealt with. We highly recommend them. Fantastic work. Thank you, Dima Plumbing!

Recently I built myself a small size garden shed to store some tools, materials and equipment. When it came to the roof I knew it would be pretty simple, easy and cost-effective to put traditional unsightly shingles or Cedar Shake on the roof but did not like either of those options. Ultimately I really wanted to put a proper steel roof on my shed just like I did on the roof of my house in 2012. I reached out to my original steel roofing company west of the GTA who said they would come and do the job but never did :( Understandably, yes, it is a very small job (96 inches by 36 inches) so I understand if they weren't exactly eager to travel downtown Toronto and do this little job the agreement was that they would do so if they already had to come to Toronto in the area or even east of the city it would be a small job that would take them about 90 minutes or so to complete (in theory). Unfortunately I just got the runaround from them and in the end they wasted too much my time. Despite doing a great job four and a half years ago on my house roof, knowing I was going to build a shed some day, I felt they should have never agreed to help me with my shed roof in the first place If they were going to only provide me with false hope, wasting my time and energy for several weeks before I gave up on them. So I did some more searching on the internet and called a few other steel roofing companies (I knew better then too consider going with aluminum for anybody who knows about aluminum knows it is pretty to look at but an extremely expensive joke! 31 gauge common standard aluminum shingle roofing systems from the majority of companies is only 2 gauges off of a 33 gauge pop can which means it is extremely week and can get damaged very easily, bad choice for any project) So eventually I found London Eco roof. I called them up and a man by the name of Derek at the Dorchester facility was very helpful over the phone and spent considerable time discussing the project with me by phone and my needs. I was surprised that he even gave me the time of day knowing my shed project was very small at 3 feet by 8 feet but he really wanted to help me and understood my frustrations up till this point. He also told me that they have a "cash and carry" option for DIY smaller projects which I had never seen any company offer before in fact even on their website it specifies certain types of their Steel Roofing that are more conducive to Cash & Carry DIY project. I wanted to see the product up close and in person and even handle it with my own hands to select the best style for my shed and ideally one that matched my own 26-gauge steel roof on my house. So I went out to the Brittania location in Mississauga and met with Patryk! They had lots of beautiful styles and colors to choose from in the showroom, it was impressive. Let me just say, Patryk's level of customer service and attention to detail and expertise are phenomenal. He took the time to help me select all the material and help customize all of the Steel to my roof and exact specifications. He has been absolutely steller and has been an instrumental factor in the completion of my shed roof!! Despite this being such a small shed roof project and his crazy schedule, being in such high-demand as he is, he even offered to come out to my place and give me a hand installing it, wow!! The other gentleman Derek at the warehouse in Dorchester was also superb and took considerable time by email and phone to ensure that all the measurements were accurate and all the folds were precise. The end result is a beautiful blue gray 26 gauge steel roof that will last a lifetime on my newly self-constructed shed project and for an incredibly reasonable price!! I could not be happier! Make London Eco-roof your Top Choice for your next roof project small or large, you will not be disappointed!

This review is a bit overdue. We hired Paul and his team last summer to remove bats from a rental property that we own in Hamilton. It was a very difficult job in that the house is a 3 story old brick Victorian and there were many possible entry points for the bats due to masonry work needing to be done. Paul and his team were very professional at all times and very determined to do the best job possible for us. They went above and beyond even removing an old chimney for us that was almost falling over. We can't say enough good things about their work and professionalism. We were very pleased with the work that they did and highly recommend them.

We brought our 1960s teak dining room table with leaf extension for refinishing to Walter at Waltopine Furniture. The table was in a bit of rough shape and needed some TLC. Walter did a fabulous job refinishing the table. It looks beautiful. We are very pleased with the work that Walter did, which was also reasonably priced. We highly recommend Waltopine Furniture.

We have gone to see Diana at Peter's Paints several times over the years for help in picking paint colours for our kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and office. Diana has never steered us wrong. The colors that she has helped us pick have been absolutely perfect. This past summer we did a complete reno of the ourside of our house. We did a stucco exterior and we were really concerned about finding the right colour. We actually had a designer who is highly rated on Homestars work with us on picking the colour of the stucco. We told her we did not want beige. Despite our request she still tried to convince us to go with a colour that was in the beige family. Though she was very nice and had some good ideas about things, we did not feel satisfied with the stucco colour she selected and did not feel she was listening to us. Then it dawned on us...Diana! Why did we not go to her in the first place? We contacted Peter's Paints and got her contact information and Diana came on site and worked with us in picking the absolutely perfect stucco colour. It is the perfect blue/gray, in keeping with the historical essence of our home, while still having an urban appeal. She got it spot on. She also helped us pick the colour of the window trim, soffit and fascia, eavestrough and roof. Our house looks fantastic and we get a lot of people stopping and admiring it. We had a front and back porch done and for the last few weeks we were struggling with picking the stain colour. We should have called Diana before we stained a small section and realized our mistake. But we did call her and she came to see us with yet again some fabulous ideas for staining the front and back porch. She is so very gifted at what she does, is reasonably priced and is a super nice, down to earth person. We highly recommend DIana. You will not be disappointed in hiring her.

Ken and his crew did a fantastic job building our front porch and back deck. The materials used were Azeck and cedar and the porch and deck look fabulous. It did end up costing more than we were originally quoted because we did make some modifications along the way. In hindsight we should have asked for the cost of things along the way as we were surprised at how much we added on. Lesson learned! But it was all worth it as they did a wonderful job. We highly recommend Master Deck.

We had all the windows in our house replaced by Magic Windows. We almost went with Brock windows but decided on Magic Windows because of the innovative design of their windows. These are fantastic windows. They are worth the bit of extra money they cost. The window frames are nice and slim, they open beautifully without a crank, the retractable screens are so convenient and the retractable sun blinds are amazing. Mike did a fantastic job installing the windows. The only glitch we had was prior to installation there was a bit of a mixup regarding the size of the window jam and there was a week delay that inconvenienced our stucco installer. But it did get resolved. We are rating the windows and the installation of the windows a perfect 10. We could not be happier with the windows.

We interviewed numerous conventional asphalt roofing companies, and were consistently disappointed in the product, the customer service and the information they gave. Our own independent research helped us to realize a metal roof was worth upgrading to. It is environmentally friendly and we will never have to do our roof again. We interviewed the industry leader in aluminum metal roofing and only to discover that there were flaws in their design, they used 31 guage aluminum when a pop can only uses 33, and the cost was outrageous. This lead us to focus on steel roofing companies and not all are created equal. We interviewed several steel roofing companies and realized that Superior Steel Roofing was the best due to their design, and their 26 guage steel that uses a specialized membrane coating process. It has a lifetime warranty and surprisingly was very reasonable in price. It looks really beautiful. We get a lot of compliments about our roof. People ask us if it is noisy when it rains, but it really is not at all. Gary, our salesman was great, Emma in the office was always kind and helpful and the crew was very professional, came on time and went above and beyond to do a great job. We highly recommend Superior Steel. They are out in Guelph but do work in Toronto. You will not be disappointed in getting a roof through them.

We interviewed several stucco contractors for the stuccoing/EIFS of our entire house. This was a big job as the old and deteriorating stucco had to be removed. Once we met Cuma, we knew that we wanted to hire Toprock. During our first meeting with Cuma, he was very professional, thorough, explained everything in great detail and answered the many questions we had. We felt very confident in hiring him. Cuma’s crew was highly skilled and hard working. Their workmanship was excellent. During the process, Cuma was always available to answer our questions and problem solve when any issues arose. For example, we had an issue with our window company and had a meeting set in the late evening with the window installer to work through the problems with the installation. Cuma did not need to do so, but he came to the meeting in the late evening (10:00pm) to ensure that his stucco work would not be compromised in any way by the problem with the window installation. Cuma and his team did not hesitate like several other companies when they learned of our east facing elevation, which was only 23.5" inches away from our neighbours wall! Cuma had 18" inch scaffolding which he carefully installed and had a full crew applying all layers of EIFS on what seemed like a near impossible area. Other crews told us they would not even attempt that. Cuma consistently went above and beyond throughout the entire stucco installation process. Toprock has an excellent relationship with Durex/DuraBond, whose representatives came out to ensure everything was up to code (which it was). Toprock uses Quantum channeled insulation, which not all companies use in order to cut corners. We could not be happier with the work that was done. Our house looks really really beautiful! We highly recommend Cuma and Toprock. You will not be disappointed in hiring them.

Recently, my wife and I hired Pierre from Java Electric to install some pot lights and electrical outlets in the basement of our home. Being an older home it presented some challenges, but Pierre and his understudy/assistant Keith were fantastic. They worked quickly, efficiently and cleaned up the area thoroughly when they were done. The work Pierre did was excellent. in fact Pierre went above and beyond what we asked him to do. Not only is he an excellent electrician and very professional, he is also a genuinely sincere and great guy. We will definitely be using Pierre again and we would recommend him in a heartbeat.
