When I noticed a strange scratching sound coming from behind the wall in my closet, I suspected a squirrel. I went to the Toronto Wildlife Rescue website to see if I could find a recommendation for a company that used HUMANE methods for dealing with wildlife in the house issues. The company they recommended was Gates Wildlife Control. The service was incredibly prompt. They returned my call 5 minutes after I made it, and David was at my front door 30 minutes later. He was very professional, polite and knowledgeable. He rapidly determined where the squirrel had gained entry (through my neighbors' attached roof). He spoke with my neighbors to explain the situation, get permission to go up on their roof, and see if they would be willing to cover half of the cost. He installed a one way door over the hole, and came back to check on it a few days later. When there was no sign of the squirrel trying to get back in (which she would have done if there had been any babies), he sealed the hole. Mission accomplished, fast, easy, and humane.

I got about 7 quotes for re-doing the roof of my house and garage, so I had a good idea of the price range (variable!) and the level of interest in doing the job (variable!). I choose Victor because he came in person to see my house (not everyone did), his quote seemed very reasonable, he was very interested in doing the job, and took the time to explain in detail the work he would do on my roof. The work itself was completed in the time he said it would take, and the clean up was pretty impeccable. When the work was complete, he gave me a video of my new roof, which was great to see, and will also be useful to have should I ever want to sell my house. I'm very glad that I decided to go with Get A Roofer, and highly recommend this company.
