Last fall we had Durham Doors replace our 20 year old wood sectional garage door with an insulated door for our double door garage. However, because the upper right and left corners of the door frame are on a 45 degree angle, they could not use their typical weather stripping. However, after 6 months it was evident that the initial weather stripping was not working. Peter did not hesitate. He personally came out with an assistant and was able this time to install the superiour weather stripping, the type that hides the screws used to affix the weather stripping to the wood frame. Thanks, Peter!

They did good work, however the salesman did not tell us that if we first had an energy audit performed under the ecoENERGY Retrofit program we would likely be eligible for a significant rebate / grant from the government. You have to get the energy audit first by a prescribed firm. Since we did not, we lost out on a lot of money. Either he was not as up to date as he should have been or he was fearful that we would have waited, had the energy audit performed and then gone with someone else....we don't know for sure. All we know is that we lost out on some otherwise easy government grants.

John was the first saleman from any energy conservation product related company who actually told us about the ecoENERGY Retrofit program whereby we could receive rebates / grants from the Federal and Provincial government for certain conservation retrofit activities for our home. Other well known suppliers did not causing us to loose out on over $1,000 in rebates under this program. Thank you John. And, he even came out in a blizzard to check on our windows when we had a question after the installation. Wow!

We needed to totally redesign our kitchen to make it accessible for all family members. Jim was out standing with his suggestions, patience and thoughts on the design and materials. Bennett, his installer was extraordinary in his efforts to get things right.
