What started out as a routine replacement of two door torsion door springs for $185 ended up close to $400. The technican kept on coming back to advise that drums were bad, then the plates, then the door rollers are bad. Was told that if I don't replace these parts the door will come of the track and land on our vehicles. I took their word for it however, I have never heard that happening to anyone. Scare tactic to buy unnecessary parts ?

We purchased a Sears Kenmore washer and dryer set from Sears approx 8 years ago. This followed 20 years of service from a Frigidaire washer and dryer pair. We thought we would try Sears this time however they just didn't stack up. The Sears washer used a cheap $12 plastic coupler that tied the water pump to the transmission. This cheap piece was constantly wearing out as I replaced it over 4 times in a three year span. The dryer takes a longer than normal time to dry clothes. The washer we replaced with GE model, and the dryer we are still living with however it could be on it's last leg. No more Sears appliances for us.

We were sorry that we selected Gladstone builders. Although they build a large home for the money, the attention to detail is non existant. From leaks in the plumbing, to cracks in the foundation wall, these are the type of things you would not expect in a quality home builder. The vinyl siding company they used could have been out performed by a any high school building program.Save yourself some grief and look elsewhere.
