late in 2011 we started to search for an in ground fiber glass pool. We met with many companies but limited as there are not very many fiber glass pool installers. We ended up going with West Coast Imports. The prices and sizes were all very similar but Nick asked the right questions and had the most answers. The worked started early in 2012 and the fun began. The team Nick used was ran by a man named Zolt. They never showed up when they said, the work was sloppy at best, and the damages to my home and property started to add up. We turned to Nick and asked he remove the team from our project and put someone else in. Nick listened to our concerns and within a couple days we had a new team. WOW, what a difference. Hope Nick is using this team today. Nick also had a handful of great subcontractors. The Electrical, landscaping and gas work was don't on time, no issues, and great people to work with. Thank you Nick for them. The concrete company (Paul), not so great. We have many very large cracks. When contacted Paul, he tells us there is no warranty for concrete. No wonder the work with crap seeing they have no incentive to do good work the first time with a warranty. Over all, we are very happy with our back yard retreat and if the issues were resolved today we would give a 10 out of 10 but till the concrete is fixed we can only give an 8.

I took on a pool project this spring and my pool contractor offered Hotwire to my electrical needs. I had them and 2 other quote on my project. Hotwire had a great price and was very good to deal with over the phone however I did go with another company as Hotwire was the only company that didn't come to my home to quote so I was nervous of the unknowns. However 2 days into the electrical work I had to let the electrician go. I called Hotwire to come in and take over as my pool guy reassured me they were the best. They came in and looked after everything once I had a trench dug for them to run the wires. We did have some issues after with the pool heater. I called Hotwire and they came out and changed a GFI and now the heater is working well. I am however still having to reset the same GFI daily but that must be the norm. They could improve on their clean up. I constantly found wire and plastic cuttings in my yard, gardens, walkway, and window sills. This is dangerous when you have children running around in bare feet around the pool. Thank you for lighting up my back yard.

Company Response

Before leaving any site our electrician turned on all equipment with the homeowners and did a walkthrough. As soon as we got the email that the equipment was not functioning We Went out to site on immediately on a Friday at noon. The plumber that was hired by client had plugged in a faulty pump that blew our GFCI plug. We replaced the GFCI receplcle at no cost to the customer and no service fee for this additonal visit was administered out of courtesy. We look forward to hearing from you. Best Regards, Hotwire
