We contracted our house on a cost plus basis. John did not do a good job on curtailing costs - many overruns. When our job needed to be re-bid for one or another reason we were most often not notified unitl after the job was completed and the expenses were incurred. His note pad was often a scrap of paper from the work site which often times became lost or forgotten. This resulted in a varity building issue including getting the wrong plumbing faucets for one.
