As original owners of our home since 1984, we have gone through numerous renovation projects inside and outside our house. In 2002, it was time to seriously consider upgrading our wooden windows which were very much at the end of their life cycle. It was following a visit to an Ottawa Home Show that we discovered the Magic Windows system and invited their sales representative Luc to give us an estimate to replace all windows in our home. We decided at the time to proceed with this project in three phases over the course of the next four years. Luc was very thorough in explaining the benefits of Magic windows over competitors, in terms of cost effectiveness, performance and long term value. After 18 years of experiencing Magic windows, we could not be more pleased. Last fall we contacted Luc, now owner of Renov Action to discuss the replacement of our original bay window and design choices for the siding below and above the window. It was agreed that the work would proceed in early spring of this year, but in view of the impact of the pandemic on numerous residential services, the installation of our new window was delayed to end of July. The work team worked effectively under the personal supervision of Luc over a period of four extremely hot days to remove, upgrade the insulation surrounding the supporting structure of the window, and ensure that all phases of the project were completed to our satisfaction. In addition, Luc volunteered at no extra charge to us to repair a board in our wood floor and also took the initiative to reinspect and lubricate all other Magic windows in our house.
