Stone contractor group, owned and run by Carlo, was the best decision we made when picking a contractor to fix our front patio and stairs. His staff work like dogs in the 35-38 degree weather we have been having. They showed up every morning promptly at 8 am and worked till 5 for 2 weeks. They had to rip out all the old concrete which had disintegrated because it was the wrong type and re-form add footings which were not there to begin with and pour a new fountain. There was constant communication with us to ensure we were happy and every night they cleaned up like no one was ever there working. His guys Tony and Marcelo were a pleasure to have around working, very good natured and respectful. I can’t say enough about how impressed I was with there work, especially since I am a Electrican by trade myself seeing another contractor work like this was impressive. We were looking for someone to install hardwood flooring on the whole upper floor. I attempted it myself and found it backbreaking work when I did the lower level. So when we decided to do upstairs I was all for getting a contractor. Looking for a good contractor is always difficult. We heard from a neighbour about Simon, and the quality work he had done. His quote was excellent and they even moved all furniture and put it back in place. What I was most impressed about being an electrician myself, is how tidy and meticulous he kept the work site. At the end of the day things were vacuumed and garage and driveway swept. This says a lot, and his work proved it as well. They also sanded and restrained our stairway. Again I was amazed with how little dust and disruption to our lives. He draped off areas and the dust was minor. The finished product was amazing. Thank you Simon and crew for such a great job. So much so 3 other neighbours have contracted him as well.
