Rolling at Clinton

Beware of this place. The person I dealt with was not trustworthy at all. I walked into an empty store and after wandering for help, I finally found a lone middle aged guy who angrily said he'd be there when he was finished doing whatever. Not the best first impression and this was while I'm standing there with a little kid. After telling him I was there to buy, his mood immediately changed positive and I sensed trouble. I told him I needed nylon or polyester for 200 sqft installed with an underpad. The price of the carpet was $2.50 as square foot, and there was no removal of old carpet needed or furniture moved around. I already had a quote for the same priced carpet at Lowes installed for $800 all in (carpet, pad, installation, taxes), so when he said it would cost $1500 all in, I had to let people know what they were in for here. Avoid this place.

Last year I bought a Buderus GB142 boiler in the USA and brought it into my Toronto home and it was installed by a good but very busy HVAC company. Well this fall it starting shutting off and the original installer didn't return my calls. I googled around for a HVAC company who had Buderus experience and found Rich and Home Comfort Canada. Rich came in and fixed the problem with a phone rep from Buderus in real-time, (my natural gas pressure was too low from the initial installation). I was so impressed that I'm already committed to calling them for my basement heating project in a couple months. Rich is professional and gets the job done. We're very happy to have found him.

Tony and his crew were fantastic. They did 2 projects of rental properties for us and we'll be calling them again for sure. First of all the price of quartz they offered was unbeatable and they had exactly the 2 or 3 choices we were looking for. We also bought kitchen sinks from them (1 double undermount and 1 single undermount). Their installation was well done and right on time. Couldn't be happier!

Brendon and Paul showed up on time, and hoisted a brand new 36" wide fridge, 33" deep up to my stairless porch with no complaints, then really earned their 10 stars by getting this fridge up to the second floor around a very tight staircase, without a single scratch to my stainless steel, or to my house paint! This job was so difficult, that 2 other moving companies I called previous simply said it could not be done. Btw, these guys wrapped up the fridge with many moving blankets and reassembled the fridge perfectly. These guys are good!

Quality work, knowledgable advice, professional crew and always clean work area by the end of each day! Thanks Jeff, Chris, Luca, Jamie and Shando, btw this was my second project with JR and won't be my last (if they aren't already completely booked up that is!).

Jeff and his guys showed up on time, and made my house real pretty without any b.s. or bad surprises and turned my place on the block go from worst to first. Save your time and sanity, just call them!

I chose Finer Edge based on the reviews I read here and I was not disappointed. I hired them to do pretty much every exterior part of the house that was paintable and it came out looking sharp, clean and professional. Thanks again gents, really a pleasure!
