Gord and the Spencer crew tackled a difficult restoration project for us with speed, care and perfect professionalism. They took it all in stride - and stayed on schedule despite some surprises: the worst was finding termites in the ceiling! Gord took a long look and said "Don't worry Norm, we'll fix it." - and they did. Over about 8 weeks we did foundation repairs, a new roof, floor joists and sub-floor, radiant hot water heating, insulation, new siding, electrical, plumbing, drywall and floor tile, and I never saw a shortcut or a bad compromise. They even kept the neighbours happy! I installed my own kitchen in the restored space, but the new straight walls and level floors made that easy. While the Spencer quote was not the lowest, it wasn't the highest either. The money was handled perfectly: 10% up front and weekly draw against the balance, with the final payment not asked for until the job was totally finished.
