Our family would recommend extra diligence and consideration to any prospective clients looking to hire Valhalla Pro Construction. We experienced major problems throughout the project execution, and have endured myriad issues since. Our experience was not a positive one, but it was not all bad, and we have provided additional context and objective scoring in a more comprehensive review available via other popular review sites. Key Facts Our project took 250-306% of the quoted timeline. -We moved our family to temporary accommodations on May 1 ($12,000 for two months) and were guaranteed we would be able to move back in on July 1 with July 15 being the latest that any residual work would be completed. -We did our final walkthrough on November 4. -Even if we discount the slippage due to the firing of a subcontractor (which was in our best interests and for which we are grateful), the project still would have run 176% to the quoted timeline. There were over 30 no-shows or rescheduled site visits by various trades. Our family was separated for >6 weeks over the summer -The Father in our family, along with our dog, had to live in a basement, sleeping on a couch, without food preparation utility except for a coffee maker and a microwave while the Mother and two children stayed at an extended family members home. -There wasnt enough room for the entire family to stay in the home, and the family dog couldnt stay at the extended family members home. We spent an estimated $2500-$3500 in additional unplanned living expenses given the 6 week period of separation over the summer, and without having a fully functional kitchen for 4 weeks once our family had reunited. We lost more than $700 while waiting ~4 weeks on a finalized extras list which was offered by the general contractor in late August. -We subsequently asked for more than four times thereafter, even outlining the need for expedition based on an anticipated slide in stock value. This list was only four bullets in length. -Four bullets. More than $700 in devaluation. There were over 175 deficiencies / issues outstanding 4 months into the job. While most were resolved, the homeowner took on 8% of those including sealing, electrical rework, wall repair, and painting. -That 8% has increased further to >10% since formal project completion as we have continued to find more issues.

Hubbard was nothing short of excellent. From the initial estimate / site-review, to the work, to the final inspection and subsequent cleanup, they showed up on time, were respectful and pleasant to deal with, and kept us informed at all times. We had two roofs reshingled with full soffits, baffles, and downspouts installed and couldn't be happier w/ the workmanship and customer service. All of our inquiries were responded to very promptly (even after business hours and on weekends - thanks Breanne!). All in all the price was right and the experience was nothing short of excellent. Thanks Hubbard Roofing team!
