I wrote a review before and deleted it because I don’t want to cause harm, but every time I go down to the basement where these guys worked I feel the disappointment and regret of using them, so I feel I will do more people good by leaving a review warning them to stay away from Paolo and Dan. The problem is not only that they are amateurs and experimenting in your property it is their attitude and the fact they don’t want to be accountable for what they messed up. when I was showing them their bad finishes Paolo got so mad why I am doing that and he said you are on your own and left instead of admitting that he is incompetent ,(I don’t know he expect me to pat his shoulder smile and say good job !!! ). Dan called later and said we want to make things right it is just words he is diplomatic (no action). Although the price was the same as what a professional contractor charged the issue is that he is not available till summer and I wanted to finish early before spring so I used them Bottom line stay away from these people, they have no idea what they are doing, they know nothing about building code. they do fences and found a more profitable way to grab peoples money by finishing basements, their work is below grade, no schooling or license whatsoever, yet claim 12 years of experience, horrible finishes, they wouldn't advice you or do whats wright they do whats easier for them and save them time/more profitable. for example they were about to put shower tiles straight on dry wall no cement board although they know that’s wrong but its OK as long as they can save money) . just pay someone knowledgeable/ honest that can do a good job better or DIY cause anyway that's what they do according to Paolo (check on YouTube how to tile before coming) , he stick ,a chipped tile in the middle of the bathroom {careless indifferent and not detailed} ( tiles are not level and eye catching wall and floor ,he blames the wall that he built himself is not straight, floor grout is a mess some places are empty some overflowing). When he was doing the tile I pointed out that they are so crooked he said it will be covered when we put grout which was not the case at the end. Dry wall not cleanly finished lots of imperfections corners all wavy, rough and lots of blemishes... save yourself frustration and heartache and stay away from this cash grab. when I e-transferred the money they didn't accept they wanted cash (untraceable money. they took 3500 from the 4000$ we agreed on and said you’re on your own with lots of what we agreed to be done not yet finished ( they didn’t install the toilet seat, the shower glass door and shower head/handle and the vanity, they painted the bathroom door from inside only. they removed the laundry sink and never put it back in place). They said they will put the gravel they excavated from the concrete in the yard with the other gravel I was shocked later on that they disposed the large slab of concrete there as well and not only the gravel.be aware, you’ll end up regretting. They charged 530$ for 6 hrs a day (labor only) check out finishes in the pictures absolute disappointment, honest advice DO NOT use them or u have to live in rage and regret for as long as u stay in the house and see their work unless u redo the job and pay again
