Quote for demolition - evading contact after promising refund
I'm really sorry to have to post this. Last summer, I dealt with Dave who was pleasant and friendly to deal with and quoted me a price for demolishing our dilapidated front porch. He took a $500.00 deposit by cheque, which has been cashed. We were unable to go ahead with the demolition because of problems with our neighbour. (a long and frustrating story - our porch is joined to his.) Dave agreed to refund the money, but did not keep his promise. I have been leaving messages since December asking for him to contact me about making arrangements. I have received no calls. If Dave is willing to make good on his promise to refund the deposit, I am willing to report the refund on this site as soon as it is made. In the meantime, buyer beware.
