First off, let me start by saying that I have never met a contractor that has either always picked up the phone when you call or respond to an e-mail or voicemail within a day. Chris does maintain excellent communication throughout the project and you should not worry about him or his team leaving you stranded in the middle of your project. I communicated with Chris for about a year on this project. 6 months before the start of the project while I was evaluating contractors and throughout the project. This was a major project which included finishing the basement of a brand new house. Chris managed everything from getting the drawings done, to handling inspections, certifications and he also picked up material that we selected at the Home Depot and Lowes which was a big help. Because of the size of our project, there were some unforeseen challenges mainly due to the city's requirements. Chris tried to resolve them in the most efficient manner possible. Chris also was very accommodating to our change requests and managed them with us to ensure that we were happy. We also asked for a window to be put in to allow for more light. He navigated the permit process with ease for us and ensured that we were informed at every step of the process. We also procured hard to get material for us which many other contractors would not have been able to do. The workmanship and professionalism of Chris and all of this trades were excellent! They showed up as promised, on time, and left the work area clean. The only constructive thing I would say is that Remodel's services are priced at the higher end of the spectrum. I do think that you have to pay for high quality work and in the end we were really happy with the finished product. Chris was also very responsive after the completion of the project to any issues that arose and addressed them promptly. I shopped around and Hossein's prices were very competitive. I got around 27 potlights installed inside and 18 outside. Hossein's crew was amazing, prompt, professional and all around great. He also arranged for the electrical inspection after the job and everything went well. We had an issue with some of the lights after install and Hossein sent someone the next day to promptly fix it. Needed a sprinkler system installed urgently for a new construction house because the builder was laying sod within 24 hours. Called Nino in the morning and he was at the house to give a quote in the afternoon. He understood the urgency of my situation and rearranged his other non-urgent appointments to do my installation the next day! Other companies either did not want to take on the job or booked an appointment five days out for a quote! Nino and his team were friendly, professional and did a good job doing the installation and cleaning up after themselves. He even came back a few days later when the builder finished installing the remainder of the sod to adjust half of the sprinklers. Brendon was quick in responding and providing an accurate quote. They weren't the cheapest nor the most expensive quote that we got but we wanted quality and I'm glad that we chose Brendon and his team. They did not go over the quoted price. The team showed up on time, took great care with our belongings, packaged everything nicely and safely. They were friendly, accommodating and courteous. Really, everything that you could ask for in a moving company. They made it a stress free move for us! They could improve on cleaning up after the packing (very minor debris from packing left behind) but because we were so happy overall, and the house needed to be swept anyway, that didn't bother us. The guys seemed knowledgeable and friendly. Showed up a bit late but ensured that the work was done properly and did not cut any corners. I found their price to be very reasonable as well. My house turned out to have more vents than an average house but they honored their initial quote. Very satisfied with their work and will definitely use them again! MJ
