Our Lift-master garage door required service to replace/repair failed bearings causing intermittent operation. In addition we needed an existing external keypad wireless transmitter to be tested and coded so that access to garage from the outside was enabled. We also needed have an "annual service" performed on moving parts of the door as called for in the paperwork we received when we purchased the house. Work was done by "Gary" this morning. Very competent and at a very reasonable cost including new parts. Everything was explained. Our checklist was completed as we had asked for. We recommend Canadian Door Doctor without reservation. They operate out of Niagara Falls. We live in Niagara-on-the-Lake.

Hamblet's assessed feasability of a repair and estimated the job much in line with our insurance adjuster's estimate. Roofing shingle was matched and repair carried out in less half a day on schedule. Appraiser knowledgeable. Crew was experienced, pleasant and helpful in describing what damage if any was found. Work done on schedule and cost matched estimate. I recommend them based on our first time experience.

Our contractor (Servisol Home Improvements)and all of his tradespeople were skilled, pro-active and customer advocates throughout this job. We were told to our face by all the trades that they intended to do the job with the same level of care and attention to detail as if they were working on their own house. This was a commitment that was delivered. I have to say that we all laughed often during this job. Keep in mind that "laughter is a sign of process health". Our relationship with them is a continuing source of pleasure. Suggestions were made that we very much appreciated. One was that we consider a particular tile for the backsplash (see pics) that we did choose after consulting with our designer. Ciot Toronto is a great place to see unusual and interesting tile for a backsplash. Our tile floor (large tile, patterned installation) supplied by Centura and installed by Sean (see pic) is very impressive. There are no "toe-grabbers" in this tile floor and no regrets after the fact. Thank you Sean! The electrical service to the kitchen required a significant upgrade for new appliances. Due to the effort of their electrician (Mo) we were able to run the new circuits internal to the house and avoid going to an outside wall. Thank you Mo (see pic of Sean & Mo)for that proposal ! Plumbing services were "no problem". Thank you Marcel and Ted! These are master tradesmen. It shows. As one other reviewer commented on several occasions we left the house to them with complete confidence. Never any problem. We appreciated that. Finally Bruce Maisels is a pleasure to deal with. He is an honest person and has the reputation among his people of never leaving a customer unhappy with a job. That is our assessment also. We recommend Servisol without reservation. We intend to use them again. They have earned our business. Thank you Bruce!

We contracted with Servisol to replace a number of windows and a patio door in our 1985 vintage home in North York. Requirements were established with useful suggestions contributed by Bruce Maisels of Servisol. The job was contracted and recently completed in January 2008. We are pleased with th quality of the job, the competence of the tradespeople and the fact that they made an effort to respect our house by use of adequate groundcloths and final cleanup.
