I had a disaster of a side yard and Lui's team did a fantastic job of giving me awesome, usable patio space. They excavated all the existing material and poured a beautiful concrete pad. Their quote was competitive, they got the job done quickly, and were super-easy to work with! Very pleased with the end result!

I called Mr. Electric at 8:00 on a Monday morning about installing a ceiling fan in a tricky spot - an overheight room with a peaked roof - and Matthew was here a few hours later ready to roll! He faced every challenge, from needing a massive ladder to having to source an alternate downrod, cheerfully, and within just a few hours, the fan was installed and humming away perfectly. My dog appreciated the dog treats he brought with him, and my cat loved rolling on around on the Mr. Electric doormat their crews carry to keep clients' floors clean. Will definitely use Matthew and Mr. Electric for all our future projects!

We recently worked on two projects, one needing kitchen and bath fixtures and the other needing a few finishing elements for the bathroom. After trying a few places, we found Ripples and won't go anywhere else now. They have a great showroom with a lot of product on display, and they make it easy to browse catalogues and explore the thousands of items that aren't up on the walls. Ordering is fast, easy, and efficient and in most cases, they either had the fixture on-site or were able to get it from their warehouse by the next day. Staff are knowledgable and friendly, and the prices are very reasonable. I like that they carry Riobel products too - it's a well-made line, very stylish, and reasonably priced.

We have an architectural home with an oversized aluminum and glass sliding patio door, and really wanted a mesh screen that would keep bugs out and pets in while at the same time, not disrupting the look of the door. Wizard created a retractable screen that blends in perfectly with the aluminum of the door - we were really pleased. Despite being an oversized door, the screen was ready within two weeks, and their installer, Tony, was great - friendly, on time, and cleaned up the (minimal) mess left by the install.

I've used Frogbox for 3 moves now, and they've been a pleasure to work with every time! Ordering online is dead easy, delivery and pickup are friendly and on-schedule, and the products are great - these things really do make moving easy. Their list of recommended movers helped up find an amazing moving company, and the fact they give back to the environment (in addition to being an environmentally responsible way to move in the first place) is pretty cool.

We had a couple of tricky plumbing fixtures to install in a recent renovation that had left other plumbers scratching their heads in confusion. Our friend recommended Peter to us, and boy, was she right. Peter's a true problem-solver and was able to work out solutions quickly and efficiently. He got us up and running in no time, and also gave us some tips on what parts of the work we could handle ourselves easily to save ourselves some money. And on top of that all that, he's just a really nice guy, and fun to chat with. He's one of the few trades numbers that I'll be keeping in my phone directory, and will be the first one I call next time I've got a plumbing job.

We were first introduced to Go Truck Go through Frogbox about three years ago, and have used them three times since. I will never, ever, ever, EVER move with anyone else! Everyone we've worked with - Sean, Jake, and Curtis - are totally lovely, and our moves are fast, perfect, and very reasonably priced every time. The guys take great care to make sure everything arrives in perfect condition, and they work so efficiently, even when having to navigate big clunky furniture around.

We spent a few hours chatting with them over a couple of visits to the showroom, and finally settled on the perfect product, along with their recommended underlay. The process was easy and seamless, and our new floor was ready for pickup within a few weeks. If you're doing a flooring project but don't know where to start, go to BC Hardwood and spend some time talking with the staff. They'll have you sorted out in no time.

We had SuperGlass do frameless shower glass in two bathrooms, a mirror, and a sliding glass closet door in our condo renovation. of the companies I contacted, they were the first to respond to my request for an estimate, the first to get back to me with a quote, the best price by about 20%, and the shortest lead time. They were an absolute pleasure to work with - friendly, fast, on schedule - and the work looks great. In a condo renovation that has been full of hiccups, it was nice to have trades in that worked out absolutely perfectly.

I found Sean through his great reviews on Home Stars and was totally delighted with his inspection. He did a very thorough job in the unit itself and in other areas of the building, such as the electrical room and roof, and even prepared a summary of the strata minutes and building reports he had read through in advance. His final report was easy to understand and full of information not just about the unit's current condition, but also how to maintain various aspects of the unit over the coming years, and I know we'll be referring to it often. He is also amazing at follow-up, staying in touch and giving us recommendations on trusted trades for various aspects of the unit's upkeep. And on top of it all, he's a super nice guy. I've already recommended his services to a friend who's condo-shopping, and will be sure to hire him again next time I've got a property to look at it.
