I don't have enough good words about Konstantin, Artiom, and the person who installed the dishwasher (I am sorry, I did not catch his name). They transformed a storage room into a bedroom - fixed/refinished drywall, rebuilt existing closet and added closet door, removed carpet, installed hardwood floor, installed a door, added siding, and painted everything. They built 2 custom closets, HUGE, so I finally have storage space to put my stuff in. They installed dishwasher into an old kitchen that never had one hooked up. It's an old house, it has original kitchen cabinets dating probably all the way back to 1985. They are smaller than what is now a standard and the one under which we wanted the dishwasher installed was about an inch too short. We managed to find a dishwasher that would fit but the cabinet needed to be altered to first add a drain and then to put the dishwasher in. Both were serious pain in the butt. They also took care of misc odds and ends in the house - add insulation to the attic, install window curtain rods, repair dry wall holes left there after new furnace installation. Konstantin is the boss. Artiom did most of the work. The man is a machine - he worked non-stop from 9am to 6pm, with a short break for a sandwich. They both showed up on time as agreed and are very responsive. Artiom mostly speaks Russian, so unless you speak Russian or Polish, you will need to explain everything to him via Konstantin. Figuring out what to do with the dishwasher and having it all sorted out and installed took about 2 weeks because Konstantin had to coordinate the activities with some other projects that he had going on at the time. Everything else was done within 4 days - we needed that new bedroom by Christmas 2019, to accommodate us Konstantin pulled Artiom from another project for that time. All was clean, professionally finished, they did not break anything, they did not let the cats out of the house, they picked up all construction debris, good price, delivered by the time as it had been agreed. Dear Konstantin, I sincerely apologize for posting this review so late. We are still settling in after the move from the US, and all the red tape involved and now tax preparation is PURE MADNESS. Truly today is the first day since you finished the job that I can sit down and write the review for you. I also just got invited to join NextDoor and I recommended your services in the Erindale neighborhood. Give my love to Artiom and tell him again that he is ;) "the bomb". When our kitchen cabinets fall apart, you will be fixing that. Carpet everywhere needs replacing, too. We expect the roof to have issues soon, as well. However, we need to recover first from all these repairs that we had done in 2019 - new furnace, new AC, new water heater, new windows, and your job. THANK YOU. You are magnificent and grand. Henry replied to all email and phone calls in timely manner, showed up on time for both the estimate and the job, answered all of our questions, and had all windows replaced within a day and a half. He worked very quietly and efficiently, and cleaned up all of the construction mess. When I called for estimates, all decided to call back and we had about 8 other companies come before Henry, and another 4 scheduled after. But we just stopped at Henry. When it's time to replace these windows again, and if Henry is still in business, we'll have him do the deed. And I am not writing this just to write it - we have a general contractor Richard who has been maintaining our rental property in California for 19 years now.
