We had several companies in to quote on the removal of a couple of trees and trimming another. "Joe's Tree Service" was by far the best price, the other companies didn't even come close. Bill was very professional and efficient and we will call him the next time we need a tree removed. While he was here our neighbor was so impress with his skill he had him come back for some trees in his backyard.
We have used Don Crole's services for several years now. Our most recent service call resulted in no charge for their time as our chimney is in need of repair and after checking the chimney over they informed us not to have it cleaned until the repairs were completed as the cleaning would need to be done again after the repairs. They have always been professional and courteous taking great care in not leaving a mess from a very messy job.
I was skeptical about dealing with a large company as my experience is they are over priced, I was very happy with the final quote and the quality brands they had to offer ( I did some research on the products they were offering) not to mention they were a one stop shop and looked after my home energy audit as well. They also handled most of the paper work for the government rebates that I was applying for. I was not as happy with the installation crew, one of the two person crew seemed intent on cutting corners instead of completing the project as described by the sales rep., so you may need to stay on top of them. Something I don't feel you would get from dealing with an owner operator but you also don't get the help on the rebate forms from the smaller outfits either.
We would not hesitate to recommend Headwaters Windows and Doors and we have. We will use them again when we are ready to replace more. They will do small or large jobs (ours was 13 windows). The crew we friendly and courteous and the job was completed in less than two days.
